Welcome to Lion Country Safari

It's Wednesday night.  Time for a huge post.  This was all from last Wednesday.  We were going on an adventure!  First, some early morning fun.  It was so nice to be able to sit outside and eat my cereal.  You can see the ocean in the distance.
The kids love that kinetic sand.
I have been wanting to go here.  It's West of Palm Beach, about an hour from us.  The kids were good and we only needed one potty break.
Here we go!  One of the biggest drive through safaris in the world!
 What do you see Eli?
The lions were thankfully behind fences.
Everyone else was free to roam!  They gave us a cd to play as we drove through and it was interesting hearing all about the animals.

 Big horns.
 Lots of ostriches.

 The kids had fun.
Then we saw this ostrich attacking a car in front of us.
Then it was our turn!  The kids got a kick out of it but Amy was not thrilled.

The rhinos were cool.
I guess they could knock your car over.

Eli's lovey is a giraffe.  He held it up to show the real giraffes!

 Chimps!

That was a lot of fun.  After the safari, there is a whole amusement park!  We finally got to feed some animals.

 Train ride!

 Look at that gator!
 Feeding the giraffes was cool.
The have a water pad but they are adding a huge water park which is opening soon.

Only Eli wanted to play there.
 Ride time.
We were there most of the day.  Thankfully the boys slept on the way back.
That night we met out cousins Carol and John for dinner.
 Balloon man!

A crown for the birthday boy!

It was nice to see them!
