Ariel on Student Council

It's Thursday night.  Time to try and straighten up the house.  I don't know why we bother.  The twins did fairly well at soccer practice tonight.  The have good days and bad days.

Last Friday was the big day for Ariel.  She ran for student council and she won!  

Walking to school.  

Amy and I met Julia and Dave for lunch at Love Bird for some yummy fried chicken.  Then Dave and I went to a liquor store in New Jersey to get the alcohol for the bar mitzvah.  

Back home, we found a frog by the mums.  

Lanie was over.  

That night, we had ice cream social and movie night at school.  

It was a big turnout.  

We knew lots of people.  

A lot of the kids ran off to play.  

We watched Despicable Me 2.  Have a great weekend!

 

Dry Ice Experiments

It's Wednesday night.  I bought some cubbies to try and organize the overflow of food in the dining room.  We buy everything in bulk because we go through stuff so fast.  Back to last Thursday.  

A package we got had dry ice in it.  Experiment time!  We dropped it in warm water and...

We got fog!

So cool!

Ariel and Heather worked on Ariel's campaign poster.  She was running for student council!

Dani came for cheer.

Eli wanted to try.

Lanie was there too.  We added soap and got frozen bubbles!

The Bensalem Turkey

It's Tuesday night.  Trying to get the twins in early.  It's nice and quiet once they are asleep.  It's almost like a mini vacation.  

Last Monday, I walked to kids to school.  You can see Noah and Eli and their giant backpacks.  

Coming home from school is also an adventure.  All the neighbors walk together.  

Ariel has been practicing her reading for the bar mitzvah.  

Lanie came for dinner.  

Eli insisted on starting the Halloween decorating even though we are in September.  

Tuesday night, Ariel had cheer outside.  

I walked around for exercise while they were practicing.  

Last Wednesday, I ran into the famous Bensalem turkey.  He's been on the national news!

Back to cheer.
