Longport Fireworks

Happy Labor Day!  Last Saturday, Honey and I cuddled.  

Ali and Todd came with the boys.  

We headed to the beach.  We saw lots of people we knew.

The girls had fun.  

The boys too.  

They relaxed.  

Meanwhile the Stevens were in Italy!  So jealous!

Todd helped my with the cart when we left the beach.  I will always take help.

The kids were in the pool.  

It was Sammy's birthday so we got a cake.  

That night, Amy, Ali, Todd and I went to Lambertis for dinner.  We got there just in time for the sunset.

There were fireworks!

I got Amy some new cool Eagle's shoes.  

It was a quiet night hanging out.  

 

The Aftermath

Last Friday, we woke and and the storm the tropical humidity and the floods were gone and it was cold and clear.  

The yard was a mess!

We have since found out that the lawn and all the plants did not survive the flood.  

I went for a jog.  The bay was a mess.  

There were problems everywhere.  

I took the boys to the Lucy playground.  

Amy walked over with Honey.  

We posed with her.  

Then we took a walk around.  

We went to the beach.  The red flags were up.  That means no swimming!

Ariel was there with her friends.  

We sat with Rachael and Julia joined us.
