Trunk or Treat

Last Friday was a big day.  I drove Ariel to school again.  Her bus has been so erratic.  They are having a hard time getting bus drivers.  Of course, when I drive her, she needs to go to Dunkin.  She ran into a bunch of friends there.
Eli was upset he didn't have the lightsaber to match his Kylo Ren costume.  There was no time to order one.  Trunk or treat was that night.  I felt bad we didn't get it earlier so I found one on Facebook Marketplace in South Jersey and got it!
I gave it to him after school.  He was so happy.
Kylo Ren was ready and scared Ariel.
We headed up to the school to set up the trunk.   I didn't do much planning.  I just grabbed the table, tent and all the random Halloween stuff I could find.  The kids had to get past the table of scary stuff then go through the blowup with dangers inside to get to the trunk with the candy.

That jumping spider scared a lot of kids.
The costumes were great.
Me and Andy.

I worked hard.  My sister came to help.  Amy was working the inside fun.

Hey Vicky!

There is Bev
There was a petting zoo!
Some other cool trunks.

Inside they had food and activities.
 Pumpkin decorating.
This was the haunted hallway.  Eli can't wait to be a six grader and run this next year.
We finally got to head home.  Have a great weekend!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Last Wednesday, Ariel had a cheer game.  It was a nice afternoon.

Defense!

They got silly.

Ariel doesn't like to tumble on grass but she did a little.
Eli and I organized the Halloween stuff.
Ariel went with her friends to Chick fil A.
Hugs from Fionna.
It was my mom's 39th birthday.  My parents came over for cake.
Sibling love.
Mahjong table fun.
Hedwig enjoyed the cake.
Last Thursday, I grilled up a ton of chicken, burgers and dogs.
Honey tried her best to get some.
Gwen scored some Ariel clothes.

Mahjong Table

Last Monday, we got a crazy delivery from China.  What could it be?
Here's a hint.  Are those mahjong tiles?
Why yes, they are!  I spent the evening building an automatic shuffling mahjong table!
Everyone helped.
Almost done!  There are 152 tiles in a game of mahjong and it's hard to shuffle and set them up for each game.  This does it for you!
Here it is!
You want to see how it works?

I cooked again on the griddle.  I'm digging it!

Piano time.
The basement before the transformation to haunted house.
We played with the table all night.
Last Tuesday, I had guitar.  It's quiet for a while but then Ariel gets home from cheer.  Amy and the twins get home from Hebrew school and Debbie comes to tutor Ariel.  Then it gets crazy!
