An Outing to the City

Last Friday, all six of us got up early and headed into the city.  Aden and Ariel had x-rays at Children's Hospital.  The roads were quiet and there was lots of parking.  Ariel was happy.  Her Starbucks was open again.  Last time there was a strike!
I took the boys on a tour of the hospital.

They ran down the ramps.

We drove over to Cece's house to pick her up.
Hugs!
We had a nice lunch at Bridget Foy's on South Street.  Ariel got a massage.
Tic-Tac-Toe tournament.
It was cold!
We took Cece back then headed home.  Ariel and I went food shopping then I started cooking chicken cutlets and french fries.
Ariel had like 10 girls over for Friendsgiving.
We made a lot of food but they weren't the best eaters.
The little ones were in charge of entertainment.
Tiktoks!
They went wild in the basement.
This is what happens when a bunch of them are cheerleaders.

It was a fun night.
Eli and Vicky made s'mores even though it was freezing!  Have a great weekend!

Thanksgiving!

Last Thursday was Thanksgiving!  We had a lazy morning but then I had to get cooking.  I had brined the turkey the night before.  I spatchcocked it and seasoned it.
Then onto the smoker at 275.
It cooked for about 3 hours.  Looking good!
Then I got to work on the potatoes and string beans.
The smoker makes the best, most moist meat but the skin doesn't get crispy.  I put in under the broiler for a few minutes.
Potatoes and green beans were done so I carved the turkey.
Yum!

We went to Melissa's house.  Ariel got some early birthday presents.
It's always special when you get to open an orange box from Hermes.
A beautiful bracelet!
It was time to pig out!  The grandmoms also brought some food.

I'm jealous that Noah can play without music in front of him.  I never could.

Baby Kai loved Honey.
We were full!
The kids went a little crazy in the basement.
We celebrated Ariel's, Kai's and Alex's birthdays.

14, 37 and 1!

Sibling cuddles.
Then we got some dancing.
It was a great night and Honey was worn out!

Potatoes Everywhere

Last Tuesday, BB8 told Noah to have a great day at school.
Or was that really Eli?
That night at dinner, Amy dropped a bunch of potatoes.  It was actually really funny.  Unlike her, she just kind of left them there.  They were all over and we kept finding them through the night.
Eli found videos where he could play along.
We had a little concert going.  I'm going to have to join them on guitar.
Ariel slept at a friend's house.  She sent a pic of her getting a head rub.
Last Wednesday, the kids were off school.  I went to work in the morning then picked up Ariel from her friends.
We went to see Honey.
That night, Eli helped cook his french toast.
I was minding my own business and was attacked by Kylo Ren!
Help!  Where is Rey?
