Last Thursday was Thanksgiving! We had a lazy morning but then I had to get cooking. I had brined the turkey the night before. I spatchcocked it and seasoned it.
Then onto the smoker at 275.It cooked for about 3 hours. Looking good!
Then I got to work on the potatoes and string beans.
The smoker makes the best, most moist meat but the skin doesn't get crispy. I put in under the broiler for a few minutes.
Potatoes and green beans were done so I carved the turkey.
Yum!
We went to Melissa's house. Ariel got some early birthday presents.
It's always special when you get to open an orange box from Hermes.
A beautiful bracelet!
It was time to pig out! The grandmoms also brought some food.
I'm jealous that Noah can play without music in front of him. I never could.
Baby Kai loved Honey.
We were full!
The kids went a little crazy in the basement.
We celebrated Ariel's, Kai's and Alex's birthdays.
14, 37 and 1!
Sibling cuddles.
Then we got some dancing.
It was a great night and Honey was worn out!
