Green Parrot Gig

Last Friday, it was crazy cold!
Noah worked on his project before school.
It was so satisfying pealing up the tape.
After school, we got to work.
Trying out the candles for Noah.
Our strolling minstrel.

Eli's turn to paint.
Noah's was coming along.
Eli's was an engineering challenge.  He really wanted to make a roller coaster Hanukkah menorah.
I met Aron at the Green Parrot to see Jordan my guitar teacher play.  The place was packed and such an interesting crowd.
There he is!

It started snowing!

Look at my drive home!  Have a great weekend!

Goodbye Heather

Last Thursday was the end of an era.  We said goodbye to Heather our sitter after more than 10 years.

But first, here's a blast from the past.  Around 20 years ago.  Mark and Melissa were babies.  Amy looks the same.  I was soooo skinny.
Eli woke up hoping to find the Elves had caused some mischief but they only left a note that said "Not Yet"
I showed Eli all the 3d printed roller coaster cars I made for his project.
Ariel and her straw.
Eli and Vicky made small forts and hid from Eli.
We took Heather out to dinner.  This was the only picture I got for some reason.
We worked on the boy's projects.
Heather is moving to Florida to be with her mom.
We are really going to miss her.  The twins were babies when she started with us and she was in high school.  She's really been part of the family.
We made her work the last night.

Final hugs.
Noah is ok but Eli is really sad.  We will have to keep him busy.

A Trip to Michael's

Last Wednesday, it was freezing but someone doens't wear a jacket to school.  It's not cool.
That night, I went to Michael's to get stuff for the twin's Hebrew school projects.  This stand with the blue and white was all the stuff they had for Hanukkah.
Then like half the store was Christmas stuff.

It's a fun place to shop.  We got paint and canvases and foam board and hot glue guns.
Ariel made hot chocolate.
Just a little bit of whipped cream.
Eli sprinkled the Hanukkah elves hoping they would wake up early.

Musical NIghts

A very quick post for your Tuesday.  I didn't take as many pics last week.  Monday, Noah had his piano lesson then played on his own for hours after.
Last Tuesday, I had guitar.  Jordan is so fun.  Amy thinks we talk more than we play.
Miss Debbie came for tutoring Ariel.  The twins played their instruments for them.
Jordan was very impressed.
A last quiet moment with Heather who is moving to Florida soon.

Happy Birthday Ariel!

Last Saturday was Ariel's 14th birthday!  Sadly, I felt really sick and barely made it out of bed that day.  I was able to get a little photoshoot.

Amy took Ariel and Cece and Fionna to Princeton for the day.  They did some big shopping then had a nice lunch.
Happy Birthday to our special baby!
Last Sunday, I woke up to snow!
Amy and Ariel took the train with Harper, Cece, Emily and their mom's to New York City.  Aden actually went with them too.  Aden went right from the train to see the Stranger Things play.  The girls went to lunch then went to see Mama Mia on Broadway!
I took the twins to Thrillz in King of Prussia.  Devyn and Dylan met us.
We had never been there before.  It was fun.  Lots of huge slides.

The place was fun.

They had no food there.  We had McDonalds delivered.

We got a 2 hour ticket.

We kept trying to get them to leave.
They would just run off.
We ended up staying over 4 hours!  We were never kicked out.
