Where are the Neighbors?

Dinner time is always messy, especially when you are enjoying Bubbie's mashed potatoes! When we pick Aden up from school, they always tell us he had a great day. Would they ever say anything different?

A little ice cream for dessert. Yummy!

Finish your bottle so we can go for a walk!

We try and take a walk around the neighborhood as often as possible. We have been doing this since we moved in March and we still haven't seen anyone! Where are the neighbors?

He just started clapping for no apparent reason.

I guess he was enjoying himself.

This morning, Aden grabbed Mickey off his book case and would not let him go. That's a first.

See you after school Mickey!

Fasting Wasn't So Bad

I've decided to return the camera. I gave it a week and the pictures never got any better. Most still come out fuzzy. Also, it still feels way to fragile for everyday use. Oh well. Back to the Canons. Aden is starting to get very mischievous. He walks up the to the tv and looks back at us before he starts hitting buttons. He will look at us before he empties a pocketbook or throws his sippie cup.

We took him to children's services on Monday. It was kindergarten and younger. There were so many kids and we actually knew a bunch. Aden was of course mesmerized by the woman with the guitar. I can't wait till he can learn some prayers. We sat with Becky and Sammy while Larry led the service.

Fasting wasn't so bad, it's the eating after which is tough. My tummy is never happy.

The Boys

Friday night, the four of us drove into town for Lauren and Max's housewarming party. The traffic on 95 was horrible but I was determined to get there. Aden was home with a new babysitter who lives on our street. Very nice girl. We had dinner at Benny the Bums on the way and didn't get to the party until after 10. When did that place become a dance club? Anyway the party was in full swing when we got there.

Mel's friends.

Lauren the beautiful hostess. They got a great place at 1500 Locust.

Max.

I was so lucky to be surrounded by all these pretty girls! We didn't get back till after 12:30. I miss those days of being able to walk home!

Saturday, Amy, Melissa and I walked around Newtown. I kept Aden busy while the girls shopped.

They built such a cute place where Goodnoes was.

Dinner at Oishi. Aden was not very patient so dinner was quick. I wasn't his fault, we had him out all day. He's so good while we shop and try on clothes, just sits and watches.

Sunday morning, Aden was chasing the Roomba robot vacuum around the basement. I will post videos later.

A little Baby Boost so mommy and daddy can clean up.

We met Jason, Lisa and Carter at Moish and Itzy's. They drove in from New York for the holiday. The boys did not want to sit still.

Back to the house, Jaime and Jared joined us. Here's pretty good shot of all the boys. The little ones had a ton of fun together. It was so cute to see them interacting.

Then to Melissa's house for dinner. Busy weekend. Aden loved his pizza.

Aden was there to cheer up Mark after the Steeler's game. It's now Monday around 10:30 and I am hungry! We are taking Aden to the children's service at 1. Break the fast is at our house tonight!

Parx

It's Friday!!! Yesterday I passed by the new Philadelphia Park Casino, which they are for some reason going to call Parx. Look how the one video screen has the Windows XP screen. Funny. It's supposed to open in December. It's about 1 mile from work!

It was so warm, like 82, when I got home from work, so I took a long ride on the scooter. I even rode over to Aden's school and met Amy there. We played with Aden and his friends in the playground.

Alright, the camera has to go back. Aden looks right at it but every picture is turing out fuzzy.

One of Aden's 5 words is banana! It's cute the way he asks for them.

Should It Stay or Should It Go?

So, I finally got a new camera. I have always used the Canon Elphs but I hesitated this time as the reviews of the newest ones were not so good. I came across this one by Samsung that had some neat features. As you can see, it has a screen in the front. It can play videos to keep a kids attention or you can use the front screen to take pictures of yourself, which I do all the time.

There are no buttons, just a giant touch screen. My initial impressions are that's it's neat but it has some issues. While it did a great job of getting Aden to look at the camera, it took the pictures so slow that most came out blurry. Also, it feels delicate, not something I can just keep in my pocket, which is a must for me. I will give it the weekend. Here are some of the better pictures from last night. I will also post some videos.

The first picture. I used the front screen to line up the shot. You don't have to press the shutter. As soon as it detects a smile, it takes the picture. This was before I went to the dentist. I had a cracked tooth in the back and I had to go in so he could explore and see how bad the crack was. If it was really bad, that could mean root canal and crown or extraction. Thankfully, it was not bad and he was able to plug it up right there. My mouth still hurts though :-(

I picked Aden up from school as Amy had a meeting.

See, he's looking right at the camera but it's blurry.

A little better.

On the way to music class. Showing Amy how the self portrait thing works. Usually, I'm off to the side, now nice and centered.

Our first music class of the season. I think it's number 4 overall. Another new cd.

Aden just stared at Ms. Marilyn the whole time.

Belly by Budweiser.

Kind of fuzzy. We marched around outside while Ms. Marilyn sang.

Aden loves this part.

Aden Wolfgang Mozart

Exploring the garage after school. Probably not the best place for a baby but it was new stuff for him to look at. I have been really motivated to finish off all the little things I had been putting off, like changing light bulbs and putting up the Mezzuzot. The things I can handle. I am also almost finished cleaning up the garage.

The last week or so, this is all he does every waking moment, just walk around the house with his truck. He is even getting better at steering it so we don't have to constantly turn him around when he hits the wall.

Hi Elmo!

Hopefully soon we will be able to leave him in the playroom by himself.

He also walks over to the piano and starts playing.
