Sloane's Day

That was a nice weekend.  Today was in the 80s!

Last Saturday, we had soccer.

Go Noah!
The other team dominated but our guys played well and almost came back.
Supportive twin.
Great game buddy!
Then we got dressed up and went to Sloane's bat mitzvah.
She did a great job.  It was so nice to see her family.
The party was at Beat Street nearby.  Nice balloons!
Tons of kids.

High school buddies.
The kids never stopped dancing.

The beautiful host and hostess.
Sloane had the best time.
We clean up nice!

The adult area.
The gave us this centerpiece to take home then called the next day because their party planner wanted it back!
The speeches were sweet.
Make your own smores.
We talked way into the night.

Third Grade Shabbat

Last Friday, I drove into the City to get the very famous Stock's pound cake.
Then we went to synagogue for a 3rd/4th grade Shabbat dinner.
We lit the candles and broke the bread and had a nice chicken dinner.
Then Rabbi Eric did some fun lessons with us.
Then it was time to celebrate my birthday with the Stock's pound cake.  It was so yummy.
Then we headed into the main service.  Our friend Jason's daughter was there for the shabbat service on the eve of her bat mitzvah.
Aden and Ariel hung with me rather than go home.
That night, Margot had her Junior Prom!  Have a great weekend!

My Birthday!

Last Wednesday, I smoked some ribs.

Then I threw them in a pan with butter, brown sugar, syrup and all kinds of spices then threw it back on the smoker.  They came out like burnt ends.  So yummy.
We have lots of school projects going on.
I 3d printed a light bulb for Noah's Thomas Edison presentation.
Eli had an idea!
Last Thursday was my birthday!  When Aden left for school, I drove like 20 minutes away to a donut place I have been wanting to try.  This place was supposed to be amazing.
OMG.  I didn't know where to begin.  They make a dozen different kinds of dough with so many different flavors and toppings.
The girl there was super nice and told me about every one.
While we were talking, they kept bringing more out.  What to get?!
I bought 6 for later and a couple for the car ride.  Amazing!
Later, Ariel had cheer.
Then we left the twins at home and went to Roccos for dinner.
The food was great.
Then we went to Melissa's to eat the donuts.
Here are the 6 I picked.
We jumped right in.
Honey hugs.
Honey kisses.

Cousin love.
