Aden Needs Some Quarters

Thursday morning, I found Aden at the slots.  I think he has a problem!  Do they have a Baby Anonymous?  We had a quick breakfast than up to the room to pack.

This was the view from the room.  You can see Brigantine Island off in the distance beyond Trump Marina.  The Water Club is the new addition to the Borgata.

We go back in these waters in Amy's father's boat.

Bye Borgata, see you in the Summer.

The last day of the show was quiet so I showed Aden around.

He likes the pool industry.

It was a long day.  Ready to go home Aden?

We got back and Aden wanted to look at himself.

Who is that?  That guy that follows you around everywhere?

It was good to be home.

The Return of Daisy!!!

Sorry about the delay.  Had some internet troubles.  It's late Thursday and we are back in Philly!  Wednesday morning we woke up to a little snow.  I wasn't sure if Amy would be able to make the drive down to Atlantic City.  I still wanted her to, I missed her and Aden.  I went down to the pool a little in the morning, you can make out the snow in the background.

I'm done with the snow.  I'm so ready for Summer.  I was at the convention all day, then Amy and Aden came!  It was super foggy out and I had to guide Amy in to the Convention Center.

That night we threw a party for our customers at the Tropicana.  The food was a taste of Philly.  Aden loved the soft pretzels.

Look who it is...Daisy!!!  She happened to be in Atlantic City this week gambling with a friend.  She called me to see when we could get together and we figured out we were both there so of course I invited her to the party.  She was so excited to see us but super excited to see Aden.  I can't believe it's been 6 months since she has seen him.

Aden was very comfortable with her right away.  Amy quickly remembered why she was a little bit happy when daisy left, she can be a bit bossy.  I think her advice is invaluable, but she's regular older person, she tells you what she's thinking at all times.

Aden had his own food of course.  The steak sandwiches, burgers and onion rings weren't enough for him.

Rich, Kevin and Ryan from Chicago, actually Naperville.

Amy had fun catching up with them.  We invited them to come with their wives for a weekend in the Summer so they could really see the Shore the way it's supposed to be. Especially the Greenhouse!  We miss Jen and Katie who we haven't seen since Aruba almost a year and a half ago.

I'll have to send this to Daisy for her brag book.

Daisy happened to be comped some tickets for a comedy show at the Borgata for that night.  My parents were nice enough to offer to babysit so we went.

We got Aden a crib for the room and my parents came over.  Amy likes the pack 'n plays because Aden's arms and legs can't get stuck in the bars.

The show was good.  It was nice to get out without the baby and hear some dirty jokes.

Of course it took a while for Aden to fall asleep.  Too much going on at the Borgata.

Aden is in the house!  I will have updates later.

Winter Wonderland

It's Wednesday morning and what a mess.  I'm still in Atlantic City.  Amy was supposed to come down today but that probably won't happen.  It's really snowy and icy out.  Although it's supposed to get warmer and turn into all rain later, so there is still hope.  I miss them!  I bet all of you teachers out there are excited.  This picture is from Monday night.  Tuesday was the first day of the convention.  It was busier than Las Vegas but still kind of slow.  I did make a bunch of my personalized bags so that kept me busy.  A lot of customers asked about Aden.  Lucky I had plenty of pictures with me!

I haven't really been updating on the house, so I thought I would give a sneak preview.  It's coming along and we may be moving soon!

Aden is ready to move!  He is ready to have his own playroom!

Under the Boardwalk...

It's Monday night and I am in Atlantic City.  The regional swimming pool convention starts tomorrow.  I don't think I have been down here since Labor Day.  Time goes really fast!  Only 3 more months till Memorial Day!  Sunday, Amy, Aden and I ran some errands.  We stopped for lunch at a bagel place.

They were very nice there and gave Aden a bagel to suck on, which he did!

It was a long day.  Poor Aden was in the infant car seat the whole time.  When we got back, I let him stretch out on the floor with Chloe.

He's still good when we are running around.

That night, we met my family at my grandmother's house.  We brought in food from Fat Jack's Barbeque in Huntingdon Valley.  It was just ok.  Aden liked the frozen rye bread my grandmother gave him.

Grandpa read to Aden.  Where's Spot is Aden's favorite book!

No, Spot isn't in there!

Aden like totally sits up now.  We just plop him in front of a toy and he will keep himself busy.  It's great!

Everyday he changes.  Sometimes he looks like Amy, sometimes me.

Monday, I drove to Atlantic City.  I was going to stop at the White House for a steak but it was too crowded so I ran over to Sack O' Subs in Ventnor.  I know many of you will say Dino's is better but I grew up just 2 blocks from Sack O's so I have a soft place in my heart for it!  Yummy.  Except we are about to go to dinner and I can still feel it in my stomach.  I know, tmi!

Back in Business!!!

Saturday night, with Melissa's camera in hand, Amy, Aden and I went to Rose and Randy's house.  We were so excited to meet the twins.  Actually, Aden was more excited.  Cute twin (single) girls!  Rylee and Reese are almost three months old, a good age for Aden!

We bought in food from Maggios.  The kids kept themselves busy so we could eat.

Aden was very interested in both the girls.  Randy, you better watch out!

Pretty mom Rose with Reese.  Amy is so impressed that they handle the girls so well. One is hard enough!

Hey Rylee!

Aden, that mat looks familiar.  He made himself right at home.  They even had a Bumbo so we could feed Aden some peaches.

Aunt Ellen and uncle Adam were also there.

We kept Aden up as long as possible so we could hang out but by nine he was definitely ready for bed so we headed home.  Thanks for having us guys, we had fun!

It's Saturday and I still don't have a working camera. I should have Melissa's by tonight. We are having dinner with Rose and Randy and their twin girls Riley and Reese.  The girls are going to be fighting over Aden!  I'm sure I will have some cute pics to put up tomorrow.

Sophie the Giraffe

Houston, we have a problem!  The battery on my camera died and I can't find the charger anywhere!  I looked but it's nowhere to be found.  They do sell them in stores but they are more than $50.  I bought one on eBay for $7 yesterday but it probably won't come for a couple of weeks.  There is no way I'm spending $50 when I don't have to.  Looks like I might be borrowing Melissa's camera for a while.

Aden and Amy had a nice day in the City yesterday walking around and shopping. Aden even got a pair of Pumas!  The one thing Amy was really happy she was able to find was Sophie the Giraffe.  Apparently shes the hot baby toy right now.  She's made in France and supposed to be good for the baby to hold and suck on.  She's almost like a Cabbage Patch kid as she comes with a birth certificate.

I'm not going to tell you what Amy spent on Sophie but let's just say nothing is too good for our little man!

One Last Gift

I have some leftover pictures from Florida that I took with my cell phone.  I thought I would share them with you.  This one is really cute.  I sent it to the grandparents when we were walking one morning.

He really is into his feet!

This was waiting for the plane to leave.  I think from now on, we will do flights during the day, not at night.

This is at Philly airport.  Since 9/11, they have not let you wait for people outside the baggage claim.  In fact, if you take too long just loading the bags in the trunk, you usually get yelled at by a cop, so I was pretty shocked to see this!

Random pic.

Back to last night.  Aden was happy to see daddy!

Aden got a Hanukkah present from Sheryl, Howard and Chad.  He was excited to have something to open!

Very cute sweatshirt.  Thanks guys!

Mommy cooked a nice dinner.

But I prefer to jump!

This morning, Aden was playful.  He's getting too big for the changing table!

I don't know if I ever showed you the letters above Aden's crib.  Amy found a muralist. She is starting this weekend.  Something about teddy bears reading books.  Obviously I was not part of that decision!
