Ilicit Haircuts

It's a stormy Thursday night.  Today was day of cheerleading dolls and volcanos.  Thankfully there is no more virtual learning on Fridays.  We all need a break.

Last Thursday we did some more experiments.

 They are so serious.  Funny.
 They zoomed with their class.

There are brief moments where they play nicely.
So our hair was getting out of control and we found someone that would come over and help us.

She normally works at a local salon but has been mostly just sitting in her house.  She wore a mask and we did it outside in the cool rain.

The boys were really good and sat still.
Aden's turn, get out the razor!

Ariel got braids and Amy got her bangs trimmed.  I haven't shaved in weeks though so my face is a mess but my hair looks!

We Facetimed that night with Rebecca and Jeremy from Albany.
Friday morning, I went to CVS.  What a world we live in.
 I went to work.
Later that afternoon...  If you ever wanted to know how hard it is for me to get them to pose for pictures...

I give up.

Have a great and safe weekend!

Eli Is On Aden's Team!

It's Wednesday night.  Took the trash out.  Ready for bed.  The house is super quiet for now.  I'm sure some little ones will be getting up at some point.  These are all from last Wednesday.

What's it going to be Eli?  You or the watermellon?
It was too good not to eat!

The boys were being quiet in the playroom.  A little too quiet.  They were getting markers wet to make what they called lava.
 Yes, the lava was everywhere.
Time for daddy to clean it up.
Back to helping Ariel with her work for hours and hours.
The boys went back to their experiments.

 They are too funny sometimes.
Time to play outside even though it's still cold.

 A neighbor's tree fell.
We went for a hike behind the house.
We have been in this house 11 years and never knew there was a path.
It runs behind all the houses on our street.
 Aden explored with me.
He can walk to a friends house and we had no idea.

 Making towers.
 Normal bedtime craziness.
Everytime Aden is attacking the twins, Eli yells out he's on Aden's team!

Cheer Video

It's Tuesday night.  A much nicer day.  We got to spend some time outside.  Back to last Monday and Tuesday...

Monday the kids did some school work then it was play time.

 Cool pic.

I went for a run with Aden.  He kept up with me.
Well what do you know, the fan and cake lost by FEDEX showed up!
There was dairy in the cake so I called the bakery to see if it was still edible after sitting on a truck for 5 days.  They said sure, go for it!
I put the shirt back on for the pic.
Eli liked it.  I wasn't so sure.  I put it in the fridge and tried it the next day.  It was awesome!  Maybe it needed a day of being cold.  I don't know.  I ate it all the way through Monday of the following week until Amy finally threw it out.
Coach Lynde asked all the girls to make a cheer move so that they could be all strung together.

The twins did not make it easy.

 I'm calling this the outtakes.

We got a few good takes.

Here's the final product.

They still climb up the stairs on the outside.
 Don't cry over spilled milk.

Tuesday morning, I moved some furniture in the bedroom to clean.
Why are you in the street Aden?
I was nice, I picked up lunch.  First the crazy scene at Chick fil a.  Then McDonalds.  Nothing but the best for my family!
The boys talked to their class while they ate.

A thunderstorm blew through and it even hailed!

Everyone helps Ariel with her school work.
The boys finally got to play with the Play Do Chicken.
 He's cute!
 Arts and crafts before bed.
