Zoom Bar Mitzvah

It's Sunday night.  We actually had a pretty decent weekend when we weren't expecting much out of it.  The shore was fun.  We even enjoyed the beach for once.  Well, 4/6 of us.  We even got to see a lot of people.  Those will be some big posts next week.  Actually, there are going to be some big posts this week too so hang on!

This is the way I feel all the time!
Last Saturday, we were supposed to have my cousin Jonah's Bar Mitzvah.  They decided to do the service over Zoom but hold the party until November.  We actually watched a good bit of it.  Thankfully I remembered not to allow video as Amy was in the shower during part of it!
Aden has to do this in a year and a half and he was shocked seeing what he is going to have to do.
Honey came for a visit.  She played with Carley a bit.

Say goodbye to the old swing set!
 Awww.  Honey.
We went up to the school.
But the sky got dark, so we didn't stay long.
 Look at that sky!
I played with the boys before bed.
 Ariel slept over Melissa's house.
Sunday morning.  Since Ariel wasn't home, I slept in her bed.  It's super soft and the boys wouldn't think to look for me there at 6am.
 Pancakes!

 Wrestling and craziness.

We have since moved the train table!  Back to Sunday tomorrow.

Dr. Ariel on the Case

It's Thursday night.  It was a beautiful night tonight.  I had 5 glorious minutes at the top of the swingset all by myself with an amazing breeze.  There are some storms coming though.  Back to last Thursday and Friday...

Dr. Ariel was on the case.  Do you have a dry cough and fever?

Patient Noah was waiting his turn.

So this came in the mail.  Amy asked me why I bought a Caillou book, I didn't, so I got to thinking what could this be?  There's a bike accident on the over.  Someone was playing a trick on me!  I quickly figured out who sent it.
 Over to visit Honey.
 Best cousins.
Amy wants one of these so bad.
 We decorated cookies.

 Great job Eli!
 Hey Gwen.

Drinks for the adults.  Been doing that a lot.
 Noah had the right idea.
That night, Amy and I snuck out to a friend's house and sat in the hot tub for a while!
Friday morning we watched the Taylor Swift concert.
Then it was arts and crafts time.

Clue the game seems really fun.
Eli brought the Slip and Slide on the deck and had it running in the rain.  Fun times.  Have a great weekend!

Human Nuggets

It's Wednesday night.  These are from last Tuesday and Wednesday.  I thought this was funny.
I had a work Zoom meeting.
 Interrupted by Spiderman.

 Alex came over to play.

This kind of puts it in perspective.
 Wednesday the toy box exploded.
 Brrr.  It was chilly.
 Aden's camp clothes arrived.
We got a tether ball set.

Eli decided he wanted to build a roller coaster in the backyard.  He brought out all the tools he thought he would need.
He might be missing a few things.
I got ribs and fixings from Good Morning America Steals and Deals.  It came from Memphis, TN.
 Playing at the neighbors.
Eli was fascinated by the heat lamps that we shouldn't need in the middle of May.

 Candy time.

That night we made a video for our friend Becky's birthday.  It took several tries.  I sent them all the outtakes so they could see what we went through.
