Saturday we ended up at King of Prussia. Amy got her makeup done at Nordstroms and I finally got a few things for myself but of course Amy couldn't leave without something new. I'm really spoiling her.

Saturday night, we met Leslie and Keith at Le Bus. First time Amy met them. It was their first time in Manyunk, the recently moved here from Florida. I worked briefly with Leslie at the City. Keith is in Lutheran seminary!

The four of us went over to Sapphire and met Dave and Danielle for Abby's birthday party. We got a corner booth and made good use of those drink specials.

A lot of people were in costume.

Mom's Birthday!

Even though mom is less than thrilled with celebrating her birthday, we all went to Carambola in Dresher for dinner. THe food was excellent and we all had a great time.

Just a quick cell phone pic of an average lunch with my parents. What's with the onion rings?

I went up to Amy's school last week. These are more cell phone pics. Saw some pumpkins on the way.

Elanor Roosevelt Elementary School was a very happy place. I forgot what elementary school was like. Everyone was in a good mood. The kids were cute.

Babies everywhere

Friday night Amy and I crashed and didn't make it to Shabbat dinner at B'nai Abraham. I don't think either of us are used to getting up so early. It really catches up with us by Friday. Saturday we walked around the City. It was a beautiful day and I really missed being in the City. It had been two weeks since I was able to do this. We met Melissa at Continental, even though we were eating dinner there. We ran into Jason, his parents, grandfather and Rachel. Funny because that's who we were eating dinner with that night. We shopped and I got Amy another essential for her wardrobe, a funky red trench coat. Amy is doing really well with new clothes. Then we drove out to Alan and Ina's house to see Josh and Sloane, who was a day shy of 4 weeks.

Then we went to Andy and Alicia's house for Brendan's second birthday party. Andy painted his backyard like a football field.

Jaime and Abby's adorable Amanda.

Brendan loved that cake!

Amy and Mark and Alicia's daughter Alexa, who looks so much like Alicia.

We rushed back to the City to meet Jason and Rachel, Nomi and Roland and Melissa at Continental. We were in Old City buy Nomi and Roland went to Mid-town. Oops. Felt bad. They had to pay to park twice. There was a 40th surprise B'day party next to us. Roland made friends with the b'day girl Lisa.

I went to the Eagles game with my dad Sunday. We won't talk about the game but I took some funny pics I will share soon.

Hump Day

I think I'm going to start a new section of my favorite pictures just to fill in the gap between weekends as my weeks are pretty boring. Let me know what you think.

Miami. The best place for a $50 breakfast!

Dana and Lev's wedding. See if you can tell what's wrong with this picture.

Busy Weekend

Friday night Amy and I went to Jeremy Treatmans/Adam Brenner's party at Jeremy's house in Manayunk. I've heard about the party for years but was never able to go. His house was amazing. We knew some people but there were many new faces. We had a good time.

Saturday, we drove home and met Amy's mom and Melissa at Ben and Irv's. Our home away from home. Amy and I then went shopping for her. We hit up two boutiques and she got some really great stuff.

Saturday night Amy and I went out with my cousin Jen and her husband Mike. They had a babysitter for both kids for the first time. Here is Jonah. Love that red hair and blue eyes.

The four of us had a great dinner at Ooka in Willow Grove. Then off to Cosi for s'mores!

Sunday we had Dave and Danielle's Engagement Party. It was a brunch at the Omni Hotel on Chestnut. I finally got to meet their families. They also have some really nice friends. We ate so much, the food was excellent.

Cheesecake Factory!

Dad and I went to the second Phils game. They lost again but we had fun.

I thought this looked cool with the guys in the dugout leaning over the fence.

Casey the baby Golden from next door. Amy bought him a toy which he loved.

My last day at work was pretty quiet. It was the Friday before a holiday weekend (I'm going to miss having Columbus Day off) so many people weren't there. This was the view from my office.

If you squint, you can see the bridge.

Here is my new friend Leslie. Her husband is in seminary!

You can see me in 1999! I had to give back my City id.

Amy had a good day Saturday. I bought her new glasses and a bunch of new clothes!

In Cherry Hill Sunday night. No wait! Amy and I hate cheesecake but the rest of the food is great.
