Pizza!!!

Worth the Trip

Back from a couple of days in Atlantic City for the regional swimming pool convention. Got to hang out with my buds Ryan and Kevin. We enjoyed some $5 40's at the Trop.

Somebody made us some yummy cookies!

Yesterday was the fifth anniversary of my first date with Amy! Since I was at the Shore I figured I would pick up some of Amy's favorite things. First stop was Jagielky's in Margate for milk chocolate cashew turtles. Then Ocean City for Mack and Manco's pizza.

So weird to see Ocean City like this.

Had the place to myself. It was a nice day, wish I had more time to wander around.

Just a few more months!

I also stopped at Nordstroms in Cherry Hill to get her a more substantial present. I was all over Jersey.

Aden was happy to see me but just as happy for the pizza. Video to follow. The pizza was so good, so worth the trip!

Some of the pizza ended up in his hair.

2nd Birthday Party?

The pizza wasn't enough I guess. Kix are still for kids.

We checked on him last night.

Hold That Cup!

I reloaded the videos below so they should work now. I am in Atlantic City today for work so I don't have a lot of pictures to share. This is Aden's morning routine. He holds the cup from the back with one hand and walks around.

Probably not the best idea but the milk drops come up pretty easy.

A little chasing the baby before school. Say goodbye to this carpet. It's the only original carpet we have left and we will be replacing it with hardwood in a few days.

Google, who hosts my blog, is having issues with video. Hopefully, they will be running soon! Sometimes if you start to move the bar under the video, it will work.

Which Way to the Ark?

Enough rain for you? It's crazy out there. I had to chase my trash cans down the street. I miss having a dumpster out back like we did in the City. Anyway, I don't have a lot of pictures because our darling boy woke up with a cold on Saturday and was a mess all weekend.

Friday, I picked him up early from school because he had his 18 month checkup. They were just finishing up snack time. It is so funny to watch them sitting in these tables talking to each other.

The girl in the front is Chloe, the one that speaks in full sentences in English and French! The doctor said everything look good. He was almost 27 lbs which was still around the fiftieth percentile. His height was around the 40th, which I don't fully believe as he squirms around so they basically guess at his height. The doctor thought it was great Aden speaks about 50 words and knows more than that. He did have two shots and took them like a man.

Saturday, we just laid around all day and took naps on and off.

Aden was up for a little dancing. The video will follow.

Sunday, Aden was feeling better, so we made a big outing to Whole Foods.

He was so funny, he had to say Hi to everyone.

Everyone was nice and said Hi back.

Video to follow.

It was packed but Aden had a blast. So much to look at.

Sunday night, both our families met for dinner at City Kitchen.

Make the Bed

So usually on Fridays you get to see the music class pictures. Not this time. We had every intention of going to class but it seems Aden had other ideas. We went to Moish and Itzy's for dinner. Aden seemed fine. As we were finishing, he started getting agitated. By the time we got to the car, he was crying and screaming. We went to class figuring it would pass, but it didn't. He was inconsolable. Ms. Marilyn played guitar for him and tried to cheer him up but he wanted no part of it so we left. On the way home he fell asleep. We put him right in the crib and he slept through the night and he was fine this morning. Could have been his teeth, maybe he was overtired. All I know is it was not fun for anyone. Makeup music class is Saturday!

This morning, Aden wanted to help me make the bed.

I know you want to play Guitar Hero, but it's time for school! Poor Aden has his 18 month checkup this afternoon!

Write Don't Eat!

I'm going to be in Atlantic City next week for the regional Swimming Pool Convention. It will be just Amy and Aden for a few days. I will bring my computer so I can video chat with them. It will be like I never left. Last night we played a little tug of war with the high chair straps.

Of course Aden won.

I wonder what his grade on "eats neatly" would be now.

First you write your A's, then you eat the chalk!

That's right, number 5!

I didn't get a good picture but he went and found the hat, put in on and walked around a while. Music class tonight!

All Quiet on the Western Front

It was a quiet Tuesday night. We played with Aden and relaxed.

He loves to build things up...

Then knock them down.

Aden being silly with mommy.

All bathed and ready to read a book.

Mommy and daddy won't let me stay up to watch American Idol.

But this is even better!

Pants on the Ground!

Saturday night we went into the city to finally meet baby Jaime who is about 7 weeks old now. He was very cute, looked just like Dave. He was less than 5 pounds at birth and now has more than doubled that, he never stops eating!

We walked with Dave, Danielle and the kids to a local restaurant for dinner. Thankfully Aden was cooperative and hung out nicely with the adults, Jaime was sleeping.

Amy and I had such a hard time remembering this time in our lives. (16 whole months ago!)

They will be buddies soon enough!

Pants on the ground. Pants on the ground. Lookin' like a fool with your pants on the ground!

Such a guy. Just plops down in his chair with the remote.

I guess he gets it from watching me!

Chase around the island!

Reading our sheet music. We will get him to play the piano yet.

This might be my new favorite picture.
