Mums Everywhere

It's Wednesday night.  Aden and Ariel actually are going to school tomorrow!  We will see how that goes.  I know Amy is ready to get her house back.  Aden is getting picked up at 7:45.  Wow!  Ariel will walk in around 9.

This has been what's been going on at home...
Ariel at her "desk"

Later that day, I helped unload thousands of mums off of delivery trucks.  Ariel's cheer team sold them as a fundraiser.
This was hard work.

These are the ones Amy sold.  49!

Coach Lynde ran this craziness.
It took me several trips to get them all home.
Amy and Ariel came to help.
Can you squeeze two more in?  Well, yes I can!
The twins had no idea what was happening.
Any reason for this one to pose.

Cheer practice that night.  I don't know how Coach Lynde stayed awake.

Here's flashback from Facebook.  5 years ago that night, it was 9:30 and we couldn't get any of the kids to sleep!

2020 Season Finale

The debate is on now.  I can only watch a minute at a time then I need to turn it off for a while.  I think the whole world is crazy.  Speaking of which, Ariel and Aden started hybrid today.  They are in school Thursday and Friday, the other half of the kids are Monday and Tuesday.  So Ariel was home today but couldn't hear the teacher through her mask and over the kids talking in the classroom.  She really struggled.  There are rumors around that we will be starting 5 days a week in November!  Please!

Although...
Last Monday, there was a praying mantis on the door at work.  We have seen a ton of them this year.
Back at football practice that night.  The sun was weird again.
I went for a nice walk on the path.
While the boys played.

The frisbee ended up in the cactus.  Might be time to get rid of it.
I guess I didn't take many pics on Tuesday.  I thought this was sad but true.
That night, the kids played outside.

Wednesday after work, I went to the gym.  All the new vans were there.  I found out the Secretary of Education was there for a program of some sort.  She seems pretty horrible.

Back to the frisbees that night.  The one without the cactus spikes.
Shipping Eli off.
Aden and Ariel got to spend time with mommy and grandmom away from the twins!
Right Honey?

I Lost My Pizza

It's Monday night and Yom Kippur is over.  I fasted and for some reason, it was not very hard.  Especially since I was smoking brisket all day!  Yay!  I had been wanting to do that for a while.  It came out well!  We had everyone over to break the fast.  That was nice.  I mostly stayed outside and played with Honey.  This week coming up the, the big kids are back in school.  Should be interesting.

Back to last Sunday in Margate.  Amy kept the kids busy and I cleaned out the garage.
Still chilly but a bit nicer.
We went to Ocean City!  We usually go all the time but not this year.  We went once in May.

It was pretty crowded.

I picked up a pizza at my place.

A few moments after this picture was taken, a gust a wind blew it out of my hands and onto the boardwalk.  I could have cried.
Cute!
This is now 8 days later and I'm still eating the big tub of Johnson's I got.
We went to Wonderland Pier to play.  The twins had been talking about this place since last year.  They kept telling us about all the rides and what they like.  Turns out they didn't want to do almost anything.  Eli is the biggest chicken of them all.
This was pretty much it for the twins.
Even Amy went on rides.
The five of us took the train around the place.  Yes, Aden is tool cool to hang with us.

Then we played some mini golf.

When it's not crowded, we can get through this in 5 minutes.

Eli likes to cheat.
We went back and I took Ariel for a ride on the Vespa.

The car was all packed for the ride home.
I'm always amazed how much this car holds.
I did a good job cleaning the garage.
We almost had to leave one of the kids to get all the stuff in.
See ya soon.
