The Rise of Atlantis

Everyone slept in their beds last night for the first time in 9 days!  In fact, I had trouble waking the kids for school.

We woke up the first morning approaching the Bahamas.  You can see the Atlantis resort on the horizon.
Nassau!  Have't been here in a while.
 The princesses were out!

Breakfast in the Cinderella room.
Ariel was finally not scared of someone - Ariel!
Aden was ready to go!
Welcome to the Bahamas!
 Pretty ship.

The drive to Paradise Island.  Our boat is second from the left.  Check out the Oasis of the Seas on the right.  Huge!
She had a fever when she got up but seemed better after the Tylenol.
I have been wanting to see Atlantis for a long time.  It's a huge property.  First we walked past pools of sting rays.
 Then sharks!
 That's the casino.
 More of the hotel.
The real beach.  It was windy so we ended up sticking to the man made beach.

 These aquariums were everywhere.
 You can swim in them!

 Nemo!
The kids wrestled in the lobby.
 Beautiful place.
Ok, time to hit the beach!
The water was a bit on the chilly side but it was hot and sunny!

We checked out some of the pools.  There are 13!

 Tunnels under the shark tanks.
My girl was feeling good but it sadly wasn't to last.
We are definitely going to come back here and spend some time.  So much to explore including a very large water park!
 Back to the ship.

Dinner that night was at the Enchanted Gardens.

Ariel was very hot again.  We took her to the doctor, the very expensive doctor who said she had a 102 fever but ears and nose were clean.  She was also negative for strep.  He tonsils were a bit swollen.  Said there wasn't much we could do.
That night we let Aden start being a detective.  We went to the starting station where he was told about the stolen paintings on the ship and given a badge and a map to solve the mystery.
Various painting around the ship came to life when he held up the badge and gave him clues!
He wasn't the only one obsessed, kids all over the ship were running from picture to picture.  I will put up some videos of this later, it was really cool.
