Snowflake Dance

Last Friday, we didn't let Aden drive to school.  It was weird seeing 2 blue cars in the driveway.
I was at the gym, I noticed a guy in the pool with snow all around it!  He's crazy!
I brought home Crumbl cookies.  Ariel and Eli pounced.
That night, Ariel had the middle school Snowflake Dance.  Look how pretty and grown up!

Her buds.  Ariel is the smallest one.

Tessa is so much taller than Ariel!
The boys got into Legos that night.  Have a great weekend!

Aden's Car

Last Wednesday, it was even colder than the day before!
Those poor people at Disney.  It was cold and rainy!
I dropped off Ariel at Playa Bowls to meet Bella and Harper.
Then Ariel and Harper went to Hebrew School.
Last Thursday was a big day for Aden.  He got his car!  I've never seen him so excited!

The salesman did a great job getting Aden acquainted with the car.
We had to explain to Aden that just because he had a license and a car, that he not free to drive anywhere anytime.  He needs practice first.  He did take his buddy Ben next door around the block a few times.  Ariel cannot wait for rides!
The girls were being silly.

School Visits

Last Tuesday was really cold!  Like ridiculously cold.
I was able to visit the kids at school.  Eli was in STEM class making a lamp which he designed first on the computer.
Then I went to see Noah.
Noah walked around collecting kids for gifted class.
Ariel wanted to make some French toast.
Practice time.  Sorry these posts are short but I'm taking way less pics these days.

MLK Day

Last Monday was a snow day!  But the kids were off anyway because it was Martin Luther King Day.  Eli ran to see if Vicky was home.
She came and they got the Cybertrucks and loaded them with sleds.

This is pretty clever.

Amy's MLK project.  She made dozens of peanut and butter sandwiches to donate.
I made a chicken for dinner.
Aden had late tennis.

Mahjong Champ

The Eagles are going to the Superbowl!  What a crazy season.

Last Saturday, I took Aden car shopping.  He did his research and decided he wanted a Honda Civic Hybrid.  Seemed a sensible choice so we went to check them out and we bought one!  It's a very nice car and it's the 2025 Car of the Year!
We had dinner with Jason and Lisa in Lambertville.
It was super foggy out on the way home.
Last Sunday, the twins had Hebrew School then Noah had soccer.

He was really into it.

It was starting to snow.
Eli wanted to shovel even though it was going to snow a lot more.

He worked hard.

The neighbors went out to play in the snow.

The twins played outside a little but then it got cold so it was more fun to play in the warm basement.
The Eagles played the Rams in the Divisional game.  It snowed really hard through most of the game!
It was crazy to watch.  Very happy to not be there.

The Eagles won!
Then Jenn, Jon and Jake came over to hang.
We played mahjong.  It was my first real game with people and I won!
Amy is a good teacher!
The kids ran around for a while then settled into their gadgets.
Amy sent Aden and I out to shovel at midnight!  You can see we got like 3 or 4 inches.
Aden started then I went out to help.

I did the sidewalk.
It did look pretty.
Thankfully the snow was light.
