Last Tuesday afternoon, we flew with Melissa and Mark to Florida. It's really hard to fly Frontier and have to keep the luggage at 40 lbs but we did it.
We were delayed a bit and got to Ft Lauderdale around 10 pm. It was late but we were excited to be there.
We made it home and unpacked and ate all the food I had delivered.
Eli sprinkled the magic dust on the elf but it was not Hanukkah yet.
We played games till late.
Wednesday morning, the elf let Eli know he had to wait one more day.
I went for a run with Melissa. It was warm!
I love running in Florida, warm and flat!
We then went to Sugar Sand park.
The kids love this playground.
It was packed with people not celebrating Christmas.
We had trouble finding a place for lunch. We got McDonalds for the kids.
Amy, Melissa, Ariel and I walked to the hotel at the Deerfield Beach pier to get lunch. We passed a Trump store!
Lunch was slow but good. Every place must have had trouble getting people to work.
This bird kept flying in and stealing sugar.
We walked back along the beach.
Noah interviewed Mark for school.
We then went to the pool.
The kids loved the pool. They did not want to get out.
Jenga!
We had dinner at Patrizia's nearby. It was a lively place.
We then went to cousin Debbie's house to light the Hanukkah candles.
It was nice to catch up with all the cousins. Julia got engaged the night before!
Candle time. It was finally Hanukkah.
Thanks for having us over!
