The Hershey Lodge

Last Thursday, we went on an adventure.  The six of us and Fionna drove the two hours to Hershey PA. 

We went right to chocolate world.  We had a reservation to make candy!

First we got dressed for the part.  

The girls were mortified.  

Look how cute we are.  

We had to design our candy bars.  

Yum!  A vat of chocolate.

It was crowded.  

Then we watched our bars being made.  

I got toffee, butterscotch and pretzels inside my bar!

Then we had to design our labels.  

Here they come, ready to be packaged.  

Then we got to try them, yum!

The stoare was huge and insane.  So many unique flavors.  

This is the storm that was really bad at home last Thursday.  We had it like an hour before but it wasn't as bad for us.  

We went to the hotel and checked in.  That was actually pretty hard.  But we ended up with two nice connected rooms.  

Then we went to the pool.  

The kids had fun.

We had dinner at a barbecue place nearby then we wandered around the hotel.  

The Hershey Lodge is huge!  Over 600 rooms!  And it was packed!

We wandered until late.
