In the Elephant's Belly

It's Sunday night.  School starts tomorrow!  Who is meeting us at the bar at 9:15am?  Ali is in already.  I'm like totally serious.  I think the twins teacher will join us at the bar after school.  What that poor woman is in for.  Back to last Saturday.  I did not take a lot of pics.  It was a blah day.  Threatened rain all day.
I went for a run and ended up at Jaime's house.  Jax was digging in the mulch.
I chased him around the pool.
Whose car is that at our house?
Oh, Dave and Julia stopped by.
I took the twins to see Lucy the Elephant.

Our our guide.
Up the leg.
Into the belly.
This used to be divided into floors.

We watched the history video.
On top!

Back down the legs.

We met Amy and Ariel at the Greenhouse for lunch.
My girl is back!
Is that an Eli in the window?
It was a lazy day.
That night Amy and I went to the Borgata for dinner.  The sitter had a hard time with the twins so we had to head home right after instead of hanging with friends.  Oh well.

Clarisse's Birthday!

Last Thursday was Clarisse's 70th birthday!  She's the best mother in law and I was excited to celebrate with her that day.  We got up early and went to the Margate Farmers Market.  We aren't usually around on Thursdays so it's always a treat.
So much to see.
We got some yummy food.
And saw some cute dogs.
Princess.
We went to the Cape May Zoo.  I actually got a few pictures of Aden.
It was a hot day but there are a lot of trees.

It wasn't too crowded, which we were happy about.
Sweet!
Here kitty kitty.

Aden has been giving Ariel some cuddles since she's been home.
We worked on some family shots.

Hey turtles!

Of course we had to go on the carousel.
And pan for gold.
The playground is nice.
Noah, of course, found a puzzle to work on.

More cuddles between Aden and Ariel!
Ariel made friends with Kylie at camp.  We found her and she was able to sit for the twins!
We took Clarisse to dinner at Sofias.
I can't stop cuddling with her either!

I love this shot!
There's the birthday girl!
The gang minus Melissa and family, who were away, and the twins.
Friday was rainy.  I took the twins to see the Paw Patrol movie at the new theater in Ventnor.
They were so excited to go to the movies.
We had the place pretty much to ourselves.

It was actually a cute movie.

I had some pizza from Tony Baloneys in Atlantic City.  Wow that was good.
It was a quiet day and night.  Have a great weekend!
