So it's Monday night, the Flyer's just won and I'm about to watch 24 but I am suddenly motivated to finish the weekend post. The party ended around 1 on Saturday. It was nice out and no one was in a rush to leave so a bunch of us walked to the nearby Madison Square Park at 25th and Broadway. That's the Flatiron Building in the background.
We did a few laps and all enjoyed the people watching.
Look at them!
The other kids stayed in their strollers, but Aden needed to be free.
Hey, how did they get so far ahead of me?
If you ever wanted to know what was behind Moose Head!
I gave Aden a few coins to throw in the fountain. Once they ran out, he was throwing anything he could find, including sticks and leaves.
Jason treated us to some yummy ice cream. Aden ate more than I did!
You might remember we were here before. This is a famous hamburger stand where people wait for hours to get theirs. Luckily, there is a separate ice cream line.
We were having fun but it was time to get the babies to sleep in the car.
Of course Aden ran up to the Golden. We got back around 6. My parents brought us over food because we were too tired to go out or cook.
Sunday, we ran some errands. Somehow Cooper ended up in the car.
Aunt Judy had a Mother's Day dinner for Amy's family and mine. Justin couldn't be there, so we chatted with him on Skype. He started making funny faces and Aden imitated him. Very funny.
Justin kept everyone entertained.
Mark is trying to convince Aden to like Pittsburgh teams but he knows better!
Alex and Aden bonded. You should have seen the dancing.
