It's Tuesday night and the kids are sleeping peacefully. We weren't sure it was going to be that way after this morning. Ariel's 6 month check up was supposed to be at 10:15. We didn't get into the small waiting room until about 11:15. We didn't see the doctor till 11:45. No explanation. Ariel had been in a great mood, but of course after waiting 2 hours, she lost it just as the doctor came in. It was hard for the doctor to check her out as she was hysterical. I guess that made the shots a little easier to take. The doctor did say everything looked good and she is still little. About 10% for weight and 20% for height or about 16% overall. She cried a little during the day but the Tylenol took care of that.
Saturday, after leaving Jaime's house, we went to Tanners for ice cream.
Ariel's mouth was watering!
Now that is some fresh ice cream.
For some reason, I get in trouble when I bring things home for the kids because apparently, the house is full. Jaime and Abby had a lot a baby toys they wanted to get rid and all of the sudden, Amy found the room! I have to admit, the horse is pretty cool.
Sunday morning we went to Beth Am for Daniella's baby naming. She is about 3 months old and it was my first time meeting her. Ariel was excited to see her again.
Here she is. Not sure if I see Becky or Larry.
She got her baby girl!
Ariel wearing shoes for the first time.
Big crowd. They didn't want to invite the whole synagogue but we made the cut! It was in the new chapel upstairs.
Larry led the service himself.
Ariel paid close attention.
Becky's niece Janie who is one week younger than Ariel.
Sam helped out too.
Janie, according to her dad, looks like she ate another baby!
The girls played during lunch. Janie isn't quite sitting up though.
I made the mistake of showing Aden his new water pistols before we left, so that was all he was thinking about. Every five minutes, "can we go home and shoot each other already?"
