Last Friday, I took Aden to see the University of Delaware. We met up with some friends.
First we had a presentation. Then we headed out. There's a Chick Fil A where you can use your meal plan. My kids would all like that!
It's beautiful campus. I hadn't been there in so long. I really didn't remember it.
They have really cool things. They have Bloomberg terminals so they learn to work on the stock exchange. The have an e sports arena for video games.
The college started in the 1700's so it reminds of colleges in Virginia.
We went into the dorms.
We went and sat in a classroom. All the classes are taped so you can watch them later.
We saw the swim team practicing.
Our almost college boy!
With our friends.
Another friend's son is a freshman there. We met him for lunch at Klondike Kate's which is a famous old place.
Of course we got some fresh ice cream on the way out.
Ariel got highlights.
Aden cooked dinner for us.
Ariel had cheer practice.
This was her first practice with the leg burn. I stayed to watch. We held our breath but there was no need to worry. She was great!
I went in to watch a full out.
They did great!
Have a great weekend!
