Last Monday, Ariel and the team had to stay at the hotel and relax before the competition. Amy and I took the twins to the Magic Kingdom!
We took the ferry from Transportation Station to the Front Gate.We saw the Polynesian.
And the Grand Floridian.
We were so excited!
It's a quick ride.
This dude was wearing a fur coat!
We made it!
Christmas at Disney!
Main Street and the castle.
Tomorrowland first.
The line was too long at Tron.
Nice shot!
Runaway Railroad.
Mickey's Philharmagic.
Then it was time for Space Mountain.
There's me in the front.
There is Amy and the twins. They loved it!
Parade!
Haunted Mansion.
We had a yucky lunch then wandered around.
It was nice just to be there.
We took the train back to the front.
Then we had some ice cream on Maint Street.
Now those are sundaes!
Another parade.
There is Mickey and Minnie.
It was time to head out.
Bye Disney!
BTW, it was a perfectly, beautiful day.
Meanwhile, back at the hotel, the girls were hanging by the pool.
We went back in time to see the girls off to the competition.
Good luck girls!
I took Eli to the pool for a little then we got ready to go.
We took the shuttle bus across the street to the convention center.
We got there in time to see a few groups go including the local team that beat us at Regionals.
It was our turn! The parents lined up in the middle.
Here is the routine!
This is my favorite.
Of course she jumped on Kallie! They were great!
We had a few minutes with her before judging.
Then it was judging time. There were 12 teams in the division.
We came in third in the nation!
We were so surprised and happy. We will take 3rd any day!
The happy girls.
Everyone took turns with the trophy.
Back at the hotel. The moms with the girls.
We went to the pool a little to celebrate with everyone.
Eli watched the fireworks at Sea World across the street.
Eli sleeping with Mickey and the Pluto.
I went to hang with the girls and the trophy.
They all jumped in the pool.
And did some stunting.
We went over the routine and the scorecard.
It was one of the highest scores they have ever gotten. Great work girls!
