It's Sunday night and Ariel is back from camp! Yay! Last Saturday was a busy day. I got up early and went for a run.
Then I took Steven and the twins to the point. We wandered around.
The tide was high so most of the beach was gone.
So we played on the rocks.
We looked for crabs.
Such a pretty day.
Eli could have spent all day out there.
Eli and Steven.
We then headed to the beach.
It was in the 70s and breezy! The first comfortable beach day this whole summer.
Not too crowded.
The boys figured out that if you lean back on the chair it will fall back. They had a lot of fun with that.
What a day.
Then we went to the pool.
After that, we went to Dave and Julia's house to say goodbye to Margot. She was leaving the next day for college. Noah jumped in the tub with Julia.
Dave rented a minivan and got everything in. He was impressed. They had a 15 hour drive in front of them to Auburn, Alabama.
Bye Margot! Have a great year!
Then I took the twins to Ocean City.
We had some pizza.
We kept an eye out for seagulls.
What a perfect night.
The boys were excited to get on the rides.
Look at Eli's face! He was thrilled. Noah next to him not so much.
They really wanted to go on the big coaster Gale Force. They waited over an hour in line. They loved it! We bought 2 pics. One of Eli smiling and one of Noah. Noah lost his on the way to the car. Here's the one of Eli.
That night, I got a sitter and went to Tideline with Bill. His family was away too.
We had some drinks and checked out the people.
Meanwhile in Las Vegas, Amy and Alison were decked out to see the Backstreet Boys.
Their view at the Sphere.
They had a fabulous time! It's a week later and Amy is still singing Backstreet Boys!
