Last Wednesday, we got up and the boat was arriving at Castaway Cay, Disney's private island.
Mickey got a ride!
There's the boat!
Rapunzel was hanging off the back.
Another beautiful day.
We went right to the beach.
The ocean water was so warm.
We got some floats.
Mark and Melissa with the boat in the background.
Hey Ariel!
There were slides out on a little island.
We swam out. I lost my Disney band on the way there!
We had to wait in line. Then we slid into the ocean!
Back to where we were sitting.
Amy chilling.
I went a little crazy with the suntan lotion. I was careful all summer and didn't want to get burnt this trip.
We had a nice barbecue lunch on the island then headed back to the boat.
The Inside Out cafe.
It was so cute in there. We had some gelato.
These were on the deck.
Back to the room to rest.
The kids watched a movie.
Noah was at Kid's Club.
The characters were out.
I went to a drawing class.
Eli and I went exploring.
The deck didn't go all the way around the boat. Just in the front.
This was the very front of the boat. Most boats don't allow you to go out there.
The ocean was so calm.
I had Amy come down to check out the view. We had our Jack and Rose moment!
Then it was pirate night! We were back in Arrandel for dinner.
The food was still excellent.
No show at dinner. They wanted us to head to the first pirate show on the deck.
Cool towel!
Captain Hook! Hide Ariel!
This was the early pirate show. The later one was going to be bigger and crazier.
The show at the theater was the Little Mermaid!
They did a great job.
Eli found this painting of the boat. So cool!
Then it was time to head back to the deck.
It was packed! Luckily we got a good spot.
Theband played some great songs.
Then all the pirate captains including Jack Sparrow came out.
Thanks Captain Sparrow!
We got the kids to bed then I wandered around. Close to midnight, I noticed a bunch of people laying on the ground looking up.
Somehow, they knew the ceiling in the lobby would put on a show.
