Rainy Saturday

It’s Labor Day!  How did that happen?  It’s time to start thinking about pumpkins

This might be the fewest pics I ever took on a Saturday.  Last Saturday, Amy and Ariel came to the shore in the morning.  They shouldn't have bothered.  It was a rainy blah weekend.
We looked at the tub but couldn't go in.
Lanie and her family came over.  I tried to get a picture of them but Aden was too fast.
We had lunch together.
I am getting closer to getting a picture.
Melissa and the gang came over too.
They watched Cruella.
Then played games.
I got giant beef ribs from Mighty Quinn's in Manhattan.
Yum.
Meanwhile at Wawa.  The hangout for teens.

Eli on the Rollercoaster

Well that was pretty crazy last night.  Hurricane Ida came through and spawned a whole bunch of tornadoes and flooding.  I don't remember there ever being weather like that around here.  We wish everyone affected the best.

Last Friday I could barely find Ariel on her bed!  She had her first cheer game that night and did not want to miss it.  I drove the three boys to the shore and Amy and Ariel stayed home.
We got to the shore around 3.  Kylie came over and the 4 of us went to Ocean City.  The rides didn't open till 5 so we had to find other stuff to do.
Mini golf!

Eli loves that splash pad.

Nice view from the golf course.
We had dinner at Mancos.  Yum.
It was pretty quiet for a summer night.
Nice cloud!
The rides were supposed to open at 5.  At 5:10, Eli tried to break in!
We only did a few rides.
I can't believe Eli went on the roller coaster.

They had fun.
Amy sent a pic from the game.
Later that night, Aden and Lanie went to Ocean City.  This was the view from the ferris wheel.
Ocean City High School!  Have a great weekend!

Holland Elementary Orientation

Hope you are all safe out there.  We had tornadoes all around us!  We know people that lost their houses and we are still in the middle of it.  It's the remnants of Hurricane Ida passing by and it's been a crazy night.

Last Thursday we had open house at school.
Big crowd!
The principal is such a nice guy.  He gave Ariel a big hug and asked her about camp.  He wrote her such a nice letter to her while she was at camp.
The boys were excited to check out the school.
Here is their bulletin board.

Let's find our desks!
Mrs. Gainsely is the best.  We are so lucky the boys have her.
Noah is ready.
Eli not so much.
Then we went over to Ariel's class.
She has the same teacher Aden had.  In fact, she's always had the same teachers so far!

Back to the boy's class.  Lina from kindergarten was there.
They were already getting comfortable in the class.
There's Jake!  We knew tons of people in the hallways.

We visited Amber.

That night, Dani came for her first solo cheer lesson.  She is taking over for her sister Rachel who is now at Penn State.
Dani is the captain of the Council Rock South Cheer Squad.  She came right from practice and had so much energy!

Where did her get that huge lollipop?

Dr. Ariel is on the case.

Eli was the first one to try out our new tub.
I turned on the bubbles and he jumped out so fast!
