I will skip by the first few days at sea and get into Bermuda itself more thoroughly. These are from the night before we go there. I liked Amy's 70's jumpsuit.
Dancing at the club. Amy's parents babysat late for us.
Disco Diva!
Wednesday morning, arriving at Bermuda.
Off the boat finally!
We were not in Hamilton, but at the Royal Naval Dockyards on the west side of the island. The ferry to Hamilton was about 20 minutes.
We walked around town a little.
Making glass.
Mix of time periods here!
Aden was pulling at his ear so we took him to the doctor on the boat, who said he had an ear infection. Yay. More stuffing anti-biotics down Aden's throat!
We all piled onto a tram and took a ride to a beach.
We ended up at this pretty secluded beach.
They had chairs and umbrellas for us.
We found a little cove next door that didn't have any waves.
fishes!
People were jumping off the cliffs everywhere!
Pink sand!
Big beach further down.
Aden and his friends Charles. We ran into them walking off the boat yesterday and Aden said, he's the boy I played ball with on the beach! (probably without a few of those words)
Later that night, we took the ferry to Hamilton for dinner.
Pretty scenery everywhere you looked.
They have a street festival every Wednesday night. It was so hot and humid, even at 7 pm, that it was hard to breathe.
Aden liked the parade.
A long, hot wait for dinner. Amy and I ended up not waiting. We found some food on the street and did some shopping. Aden got some cute shirts!
