It's Monday night and the wind is howling. You can almost hear the temperature dropping. It was 60 degrees when we woke up today and we will be lucky if it's above zero when we wake up tomorrow. It's been a wild winter already. Last Thursday night the snow came hard and fast.
By morning it was a winter wonderland and everything was closed.
The poor UPS guy came though to bring Aden's snow boots. He didn't look happy.
She likes to look but not touch.
Brrrr.
We started the beef stew going around 10 am.
It was too cold to play outside so Aden went to play at Benjamin's.
Our driveway was plowed before we got up. Best $40 I ever spent! There's Aden headed next door. I wasn't walking any further than I had to!
I went to pick him up when the beef stew was ready.
Yummy. We ate it for days.
Ariel even tried some.
She likes to read to us now!
Saturday morning the kids hanging.
Even more brrrrrr.
Soccer is back! CRUSA indoor at Holland Elementary. I was excited to be able to walk but the path was covered in snow and it was 5 degrees.
Ariel wanted to play so badly.
This won't be as much fun for Aden. It's all skills and the occasional scrimmage.
Aden actually really got into it.
Finally Ariel's turn.
She would have played all day but the next group came in.
