Back to Florida

Happy New Year!  It's 2024 and I didn't do a blog post today.  Winter Break is over tomorrow.  The kids thankfully go back to school.  We actually did a lot of fun stuff starting with...

Last Saturday morning, we somehow got all our stuff into 4 suitcases and headed to Trenton to catch a Frontier flight to Fort Lauderdale.
There was a line of little planes behind us.
The boys had not been to South Florida since before Covid.  Ariel was there for 2 nights last year.
There's the Florida coast.
Poor Amy, Noah and Aden had some crazy people behind them.
As we were landing, you could see Miami in the distance.
So nice to be back!  Anytime you see palm trees you have to smile.
I rented a Lincoln Navigator.  It was huge but everyone really liked it.

We took a walk outside to stretch our legs around my parent's place in Deerfield Beach.
Then Ariel and I went to the market.  She was excited to find a dragon fruit.
We might have bought a bit too much.
She was all smiles here but she was not so happy once she tasted it.  Lol.
We walked over to the beach.

It was sunny and warm but super windy.

Eli was excited to see the beach.

That night, we met Erika and Mike and the girls for dinner.
It's always great to see them.
Aden pigged out this whole trip.

Fun night but we were tired and went to bed.
