Sunday morning Aden was up before us again.
He put on his Penguin outfit and went downstairs to hang with the dogs.
Hey Chloe!
The shorts are like pants on him.
We caught him climbing the stairs!
He actually made it up four!
Amy, Melissa, Aden and I went for a short walk then headed to Johnny's Cafe for breakfast. We liked Johnny's when it was in Ventnor, but since it moved to Margate, and replaced our beloved Diner, it has not been the same. The service and food are just not what they should be.
Aunt Lauren and Uncle Max met us. They had a lot of fun with Aden.
Aden was having a blast himself. He was banging everything he could and even threw the butter bowl across the restaurant!
We then went to the new bakery Aversa's in Margate to order the cake for Aden's party. The baker gave us spoons of icing to try. So of course we gave one to Aden and he loved it!

Finally we made it to the beach. Uncle Mark couldn't wait to play with Aden.
It was nice. Usually we are schlepping Aden and all our stuff to beach about 5 blocks away to be with family and friends that go there. Today, we went to our beach and everyone came to us. We sat in a circle around Aden and took turns playing with him.
The beach was still crowded. It was another nice day.
Hey, give me some of that banana fudge!
Yummy!
A little rice cake snack.
Max dug a big hole and Aden ended up in it!
He tried to dig himself out!
For some reason, he loved it!
We started to wonder about where we were going to find sand on Aden. It was probably in every crevice!
Ok, time to go!
We went back and hosed him off with the chairs!
Uncle Mark will save you from that mean hose.
It took two baths and a hosing off to get him reasonably clean!
