The finish line for the Boston Marathon!
Candy!
Shakespeare in the Commons
A little snack in Beacon Hill.
Finally, they arrived! We took the subway back to the North End. Mark, Jeff and Rita had about a 7 hour drive. After dinner, we headed back to the hotel and hung out at the piano bar.
Saturday morning, we headed out looking for breakfast.
Joes' on Newbury.
Mark was so excited for his first authentic Boston Clam Chowder. He cleaned his plate, bread bowl and all!
We then wandered over to the Charles and walked down the Esplanade.
We passed by Cheers. I was still in school when they filmed that last few episodes and I remember seeing everyone around the City.
Mark, Melissa, Jeff and Rita then left us to head out to the Worcester (they say Woosta) area for a wedding.
Amy and I moved into the Liberty Hotel. It was created recently from an old prison!
Our view was amazing.
The entire city!
It was hard to take pictures but the place was really cool.
The original roof.
We wandered around Beacon Hill to get a snack.
We then met my cousins Eric, Trish, Lucas and baby Dylan in the Commons.
She's about 7 weeks old!
Lucas is 2 1/2.
Still can't believe we are going to have one of these in 3 months!
We had a great meal at the Parrish Cafe and had fun hanging out.
Bed time!
Amy dropped her phone on the way back to the hotel. Mine stopped working Friday. We were a mess.
Sunday morning, we got up early and took the T back into Cambridge.
We met Sean, who Amy grew up with, along with Whitney and the boys, for breakfast.
The boys were cute, we had fun playing with them.
Back to the hotel to pack, the sky got dark! It was pouring at home.
You can actually stay in old prison cells! We ended up sitting at Logan Airport for about 4 hours. The flights into Philly were delayed because of the rain. At least we had Netflix to keep us busy.
Not home till 10 but Aden had to wait up to see us! We all missed each other a ton!
