It's the Sunday night of a very quiet weekend. No birthday parties. No adult night out. (cancelled due to snow) No enjoying the aforementioned snow. No new baby. Very few pictures so I will be stretching them out! Friday night, we went to Cuddle Up Shabbat at Shir Ami. After a very nice service where for the second time in 2 weeks, we were taught how to make Shabbat work for the kids, we had a pasta dinner.
The kids made Kiddush cups. Ariel decorated her face also.
I'm glad the kids had so much fun. Maybe we can get them to spend more time at synagogue!
Saturday morning we were expecting snowstorm 3 and Aden still did not have boots or snow pants of his own. I took him to the Willow Grove Mall. On the way I noticed the WaWa at Davisville and County Line Road was gone!
We were super unsuccessful at the mall. Turns out there is not a single store that sells little boy boots.
So we went to play at the Apple Store!
He could have spent all day there.
So this is kind of crazy, most of you might know that Apple Stores are insanely crowded always. I have been to ones in the middle of the day middle of the week and could hardly walk in the store. This was the Saturday 10 days before Christmas and it was empty! Actually, besides the line for pictures with Santa, the whole mall was pretty quiet. That can't be too good a sign for the economy.
Speaking of Santa. Aden had a lot of questions about him.
Well besides the shopping being a bust, so was the storm. It was a nuisance, such as canceling our dinner plans, but it didn't really amount to much. The kids didn't even bother going outside.
Ariel took over Aden's motorcycle.
We got them to bed early then watched the Life of Pi. Cool movie. Makes you think.
