Happy New Year! Finally

It's Thursday night.  Happy New Year!  We just had an impromptu party on our driveway with a few neighbors.  One brought some serious fireworks.  It was cold but nice to see everyone.  These are from last Friday.  Christmas morning.  As Noah keeps telling Eli, we don't celebrate Christmas, but Santa wanted to the kids to know they weren't on the naughty list and brought a few small things.  

Then it was brunch time.  

I made belgian waffles with pearlized sugar.  Bananas foster and candied bacon.  That was one sweet breakfast!

Aden tried bacon for the first time and liked it.  What's not to like, sugar and bacon combined!

We played with Honey.  

Then we watched the new Disney movie Soul.  

It was very good.

Here's what Santa brought the boys.  

It was actually really hard to work with.  

So we played Bingo with the synagogue.  

Back to the marbles.  We got it going pretty well.  

Then we brought out Aden's BB-8 from Disneyland to play with.  Have a great weekend!

 

Sliding Twins

It's Wednesday night.  Hard to believe tomorrow is the last day of this awful 2020.  These are from last Thursday.  The twins were up early and full of energy.  They took pillows and slid down the stairs.

Then they jumped all over us.

This kind of says it all.

I was waiting for something from Fedex.  I look out and see two Fedex trucks on either side of the street, neither for me.  This was the day before Christmas.  They must have been so busy.  

We watched Mulan and ate doughnuts.  

Tesla finally came back to fix my tire.  

They took back my strange red loaner tire.  

This was dinner for the 3 little ones.  Never the same.  Rice and french fries for Eli.  

Pizza and rice for Noah.  

Ribs and rice for Ariel.

Wow it was warm.  

We watched Santa going around the globe.  The kids had so many questions.  

Santa was wearing a mask.  

So were the reindeer.  Although Rudolph's had a hole cut out for his nose.  

Santa did leave a few presents for the kids! 

 

Eva is 7!

It's Tuesday night.  Today was pretty quiet.  Just a lot of twin entertaining.  These are from last Monday Tuesday and Wednesday.

Normally the kids would be home on Monday but since they missed being in school the week before because of the snow the days were switched so off they went.  

A quiet night around the house.  

Tuesday was Eva's 7th birthday.  We went over there for dinner and cake.  Of course Aden has to attack all the little ones.  

Honey was with us and Eli was behind the baby gates!  He's still scared of her.

Wednesday night Alex came to play.  

Eli kept trying to get everyone in costumes but on one was into it.  

We watched Floor is Lava on Netflix.  That's my cousin Jason on the screen!  He was the only one on his team to make it.  

Eli only wants to play Floor is Lava now.  
 

All Cheer All the Time

It's Monday night.  We just got back from the Shady Brook light show.  It was a nice night so we stayed and made s'mores and sat around a fire.  These are from last Sunday.

Rachel came over to work on cheer.

We watched the Sound of Music.  Even though it's on Disney +, we were compelled to watch it on ABC with commercials.  

Eli loved the scene with the marionettes.  We showed him the one my parents got for Aden in Austria.
