Last Shots

Wednesday we had Aden's six month checkup with Dr. McNett.  He weighs 17 1/2 lbs and is about 27 inches long.  Both around the 50 percentile.  Our boy is still average!  Dr. McNett said he looks great and loves the intensity of his stare.  Aden is doing the "tripod" sitting, which means he still needs an arm to sit up which is normal as is his getting shy around strangers.  

Aden had the third series of his 6 shots plus the flu shot.  It was very emotional for us but we are glad this series is done and he has no more shots till one year.  Aden has the same reaction to the shots every time.  He cries and first then gets quiet.  Then falls asleep for a while.  Wakes up happy.  Gets cranky then falls asleep again, then wakes up ok.  He get over it pretty quickly which makes us happy.

Last night we did some cleaning and watched Idol.  

These pictures are from this morning.  I wandered into Aden's room around 7 and he was just sitting there looking around.  It takes him a second to focus on me, then I get the world's greatest smile!
