It's Sunday night! The kids are asleep and things are winding down here. It was a pretty busy weekend. We had Buddy Bear back and he's dirtier than ever! We went to Sesame Place, Lindsay's new house and the very sad Eagles game.
Last I left you Thursday night, Ariel had had two sleepless nights. Well Thursday was number three. This picture was about 2:30 am. What is up?
This was her in the morning. She had a cold and maybe she just needed rest so we decided to keep her home. The longest nap she can take at school is two hours. That might not have been enough. Amy's mom watched her in the morning and I came back in the afternoon. She slept for four hours! I guess she really needed it. When I dropped off Aden, the kids were stepping on their sight words and reciting them as they went around. Aden knows a bunch now.
After school, Amy picked up Aden and Buddy! We had no idea he was making a return appearance. Now he's covered with paint from Jaxon.
Aden was so excited.
So was Ariel!
We met my parents at Angelo's which was uncharacteristically packed.
Aden and Buddy shared a pizza.
When we got home, Amy's parents stopped by.
We worked on Aden's sight words. You can lay them out in any order and make any sentence and he can read it!
A little Zingo before bed.
Deep in thought.
I think Buddy might be a cheater. He won every game!
