End of the Year Party

It's Sunday night.  Happy Father's Day everyone! We made a mistake this weekend and listened to the weather forecasters.  It was supposed to be a washout so we didn't go to the shore but it ended up being beautiful.  The summer weekends are so few and so precious.  We won't make that mistake again even though we did end up having fun at home.

Last Monday, Ariel started interim week in her dino hat.
They were celebrating Aden's summer birthday in school so he got together goodies to give to his friends.
Playing with the neighbors.
4 month checkup!  Eli the big show off!
Hey boys!  Looking at me.
Looking at each other.
Looking at Ariel!
Tuesday was Aden's end of year party.  I brought Ariel.  The kids totally overwhelmed her.
 They were excited to party!
One parent made a piggy fruit bowl.
 Handing out the chips.
 Hey Jason!
We played games with beach balls.  The girls were much better listening than the boys.  Actually, pretty much nobody was listening.   The kids knew it was their second to last day and just went crazy!
I'm not sure what this was about.  They played stuff on the smart board to bring back their focus.

Can't go wrong with Rita's water ice!

I had fun with them this year.  I'm glad I was able to help out and get to know all the kids.
We had pails made for everyone.
And beach balls that they signed for each other.
So thrilled that Aden had a fabulous year.
Bye kids, maybe I will be seeing you in second grade!
