Already Tired of Matzoh!

Another full weekend.  Saturday morning we went to the gym.  Amy wanted a picture to show she's still working with the trainer.  She's doing great.  Anyone have any nice guys for Bill?

We then drove back out to the burbs and met Melissa at Ben and Irvs for lunch.  Many people get their food for Passover from here, so they were set-up outside handing out the pre-orders.

Amy in our home away from home.

There are too many choices on the menu.

Then we met my mother and grandmother, Amy's sister and mother, Amy's aunt and cousin at Denny's Children's Wear in Huntingdon Valley to pick out the layette (the initial stuff the baby needs)

The woman there was very patient and showed us what we needed to get.  You can see Judy, Alex, Melissa and my mom in the background.

They have really cute stuff.

"iPood!"

It says "Save the Date My Bar Mitzvah 2021"  How awesome is that.  We already out our deposit down with Adam for the music!

Bring Your Own Bottle

Bubbie even came over to help.

Here is the pile of stuff we got, including a Grateful Dead shirt! (the orange one)

Do you get all those free coupons for food on your birthday?  I got Houlihans, Ted's, Magiannos, etc.  The only one I used was the one for Cold Stone Creamery!

Cookie Doughn't You Want Some!

We stopped by Jo Ann Fabric to pick out curtain for the baby's room.  Just kidding.

Saturday night, Amy's extended family and my immediate family (my aunt's family was in Pittsburgh) had our Passover seder at the Buck Hotel in Feasterville.  We decided to take the year off and eat out.  There were about 100 people there for Passover and there were a couple of weddings going on so the place was crazy.  I don't know if they have done many Jewish events there as they seemed a little confused about what they were supposed to do.

Melissa, Amy, Alex and James.  Alex is done her freshman year in 2 weeks!  Crazy.

Most of the food seemed normal for Passover...

Till they served the kasha and bowties!  We saw the bowties on the menu earlier in the week and called to let them know they were not kosher for Passover and they said others called and the assured us they would not be served.  Oops.

Marc and Chad

The wedding music from next door had the baby dancing!

One of the weddings was for two women!  Amy's uncle and I talked to them.  They were cool.

Cute

Chloe got a haircut.  The shortest it's ever been.  We didn't recognize her and thought maybe they picked up the wrong dog.

Sunday we relaxed.  Amy's mom made an impromptu seder Sunday night.  My parents and sister came.

Turkey and meatballs. No bowties.

Jenny was patiently waiting for her share.

I've been playing Guitar Hero.  I'm sure Amy will be posting some embarrassing photos.  But I rock!
