The food was a bit fancy for lunch and the service was a bit too attentive. I got the kebob with filet, chicken and shrimp. The chicken and shrimp were good but the chicken was weird. They need a more normal lunch menu.
Andy was nice enough to invite me to the last home Sixers game of the season. It was fan appreciation night and they gave out tons of prizes and hot dogs were $1 although limited to 6 per person! I'm sure I could have eaten more than six!
National Anthem. After her name it said "Anthemist" Is that a real word? And if so, do we really need a name for someone who sings anthems?
So the game was fairly close. We got to see LeBron James make some amazing shots as we ate fried chicken and crab fries from Chikie and Petes.
So the Sixers were down by 13 in the 4th. They came back and took the lead by 1 with a few seconds left. Cleveland gets it to LeBron and the Sixers blocked him. Brown gets the rebound and shoots as the buzzer sounds and it didn't go in so the Sixers won, so we thought... The confetti flew, everyone was cheering, the Sixers went to the locker room but the Cavaliers never moved. They said there was a foul on that last shot. After looking at the replay, they decided there was a foul, added .2 seconds to the clock and gave the Cavs 2 free throws. They had to clean up the floor and wait for the Sixers to return. This is Lebron James waiting.
