I'm watching people Twitter live from Iran. It's pretty amazing. Hundreds of tweets are coming through every second. We really don't need the traditional news services anymore when you can get instant updates from people actually involved and making the news. The Iranian government is actively banning the press but they can't stop people sending news and pictures from their cell phones. Here are some examples:
meedan RT @xsam0: from Iran: Massive amounts of people. Military is just watching. I'd estimate many more than previous times. #iranelection #gr88
Rally going on now, some reformist leaders already arrested. Stay in big groups, move around city if you are target. #Iranelection
from Iran: Bridge of Karim-Khan St. after 7-Tir sq. full of people walking in silence towards Vali-Asr Sq.#iranElection #gr88 #Tehran
HunkyBobTX “Our sympathies are with the people, not the government.” - R.Reagan. Different day, country & government. Same sentiment. #IranElection
Cuddling with Bubbie.
I think he's going to try that tortilla chip.
Yummy!
Here is Aden holding his own bottle. Boy does that make feeding time easier. Tuesday night Amy, Bev and I somehow got sucked into watching Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. Don't ask how we made it all the way through. It was just plain horrible.
This is how we found him this morning, Wednesday. Actually, the last couple of days, he has been standing in the crib. It's a little scary.
Amy wonders if he can get over the bar?
Aden is now old enough to pick out his own clothes!
He picked out overalls! This is the first time he has worn overalls. It took me a while to figure out how to get them on.
Back to school! (it was closed Monday and Tuesday) This is his last full week as Amy is done school next Monday. He's going to continue 2 days a week through the Summer.
That's Aliyah in the background. She's the baby of the class.
Aden and his buddy Andrew, who is finally warming up to me.
