Today we had Ariel's 18 month checkup. We were shocked to find out that she got bigger! She was about 2% for height and weight at her last appointment. Now she's closer to 10%! The doctor said she's doing great. They put off her shots so we had no crying either!
Back to Sunday, which was Amy's birthday!!! We got back from the hospital at three and had little sleep, so I took the kids and let Amy stay in bed.
There is always something going on with the dogs around. It was nice of Ariel to share her milk with Cooper.
Aden is starting to warm up to the dogs.
Ariel shares food with them. She gives them hers and takes an occasional bite of theirs. (yes, she really does...her hair does seem extra shiny)
We got ourselves together and met Jackie, Greg and Jacob at Hannah G's in Ventnor. It was still pretty cold out so maybe that's why we were able to get in. Where was everyone?
Ariel still wasn't herself.
We then went to the Ventnor playground. Not even the swing could get her to smile.
Hard to tell here but it was the most crowded we have ever seen it there. We knew a bunch of people.
Captain Aden.
It was chilly but the kids didn't seem to care. We stayed a while.
We all napped, then wandered around a little. Amy and Ariel shared a slice.
Ariel made a new friend. They are less than a week apart.
Nothing like some water ice.
It's never too cold for that. We visited baby Brie who beat Aden's record. We took him to the Greenhouse at 13 days old. They took Brie at 10 days!
A quick visit to Steve and Judy. Aden will wrestle anyone.
Is it feeding time yet?
Let's see what's in mommy's wallet.
Buddies.
Amy's parents sat for the kids so we could go to dinner. Our sitter from the last few years is spending the summer in Spain. Anyone want to sit for us?
We went to the Knife and Fork, which has been around since 1912.
Nucky Thompson used to hang out there. Amy thought that was cool.
Happy Birthday to my love!!!
