Lilo, Stich and a Very Scared Little Girl

It's Sunday night.  We are watching the Academy Awards and wondering when the next big snowstorm is going to arrive.  My work is already closed and Amy has a three hour delay so far but there hasn't been any snow yet!

Just 2 more Disney posts, I promise.  You may remember 2 years ago, when we had breakfast with Lilo and Stich and friends at Ohana at the Polynesian.  Well, we did it again.  This time with Alex and a very scared Ariel.  Alex is now living in Gainsville about 2 hours away.  She wanted to go to the parks with us and we are glad she came.
The food was great but the juice was amazing!  Some sort of passion fruit combo.  We couldn't get enough.
 There's Lilo.
 Mickey!!!
 Ariel was not happy.

 Pluto!
After breakfast, we took the bus to Animal Kingdom.
Ariel got her map.
Both the kids loved the stroller.
 Mt. Everest in the distance.
Let's go to the safari!
There was a bit of a line.
They started the nature preserve at the time they started Disney in the early 70's but it's only been in recent years that you can tour it.
Ariel was excited to see the animals.
They can walk right up to our car!

Last time we were here the animals were hiding.  Not this time.  Everyone was out, even the lions.
Someone is getting tired.

The kids took some of the animals with them.
Then it was off to Dino Land.
That's Amy with the kids in the center Triceratops.
 The games were $4 each!
 Aden played 2.
It's time to dig for dinosaurs!

 Ariel made friends.
We were crazy and decided to go to a second park.  Someone fell asleep on the bus ride.
 Disney's Hollywood Studios.
 Ariel was still asleep.

We got a fast pass for Toy Story Mania.  This is one hard ride to get in to.  It is fun though.  you get thrown from screen to screen having to shoot different things.  You pull a rope to shoot.  About half way through Amy complained that her hand hurt.
Honey I Shrunk the Kids!

I think we were invaded.  There were thousands of teens from Argentina.  Aden got to practice his Spanish.
 Cute!
Waiting for our table at Mama Melrose.  Dinner was good.
We then went to see Fantasmic.  We got there about 45 minutes early and all the seats were gone!  It's the big show they do every night in an outside stadium that holds about 10,000.  The show has not changed in years and is actually getting kind of boring so we left early to beat the rush to the buses.
