Warm, Gooey Cookies with Milk

Sadly we didn't go to the Shore this weekend.  The weather was lousy and it can get really boring down there if you can't do anything outside.  It did give us the opportunity to do things we don't normally do in the Summer.  I will share those in the next posts.  For now, I will catch up with last week.

I had to spend a few days in the City taking my Continuing Legal Education classes.  One thing I really miss about living in the City is the food.  I had some really good meals including Barbuzzo, El Vez and several stops to Insomnia Cookies, which sells half baked, gooey and hot cookies which they will deliver to you with milk until 3 am!
Aden getting ready for dress up day during carnival week at camp.  What's with that hair?  We've always had this problem.  He goes to bed with wet hair and there is nothing we can do with it in the morning.
Watching the boys play hockey.

 Darts in the basement.

We have been having pretty regular date nights during the week.  It's great having Maura around.  We will be sad to see her go back to school in 2 weeks.  Last week, we went to Charcoal in Yardley for dinner. Yummy.  Especially the hot donuts!
Got to see the cousins once more for a few minutes before they headed back across the country at my grandmother's house.

 Pile on Noah!
Friday night we took my dad to Vecchio Osteria in Newtown.
 There's the birthday boy!
This is Ariel's new face.  She's been doing it for a week straight.  We hate it and don't know how to get her to stop.

 Back inside for cake.
 Fun night.  Happy Birthday Dad!
