Surprise! We are back from Aruba! What a great week away! We needed it. Last Thursday, we got up at 4 and were picked up at 5 with our 7 checked bags!
It went smoothly at the airport.
It was so cold at home.
Four hours airtime from Philly to Aruba.
The kids did pretty well. That's a long time for them to be sitting.

Yay! We made it!
We took a bus to the hotel, which was 5 minutes away!
First thing I saw was my favorite pelican.
We are home. It was my fifth trip to the same Renaissance.
There's that familiar pool. Felt like we never left.
Ahhh. It was in the 80s. So nice.
Our hotel had a little beach but there we could take a boat to a private island for the main beach.

We had 2 rooms on the second floor. You can see Aden there.
We brought Margot to help out.
Ariel fit well into the mini lounge chairs.
We swam until sunset.

That night I went with some of our group to a barbecue on the beach.
We had a fun show to watch.
