Day 7 - Bye Aruba

Last Wednesday was our last day in Aruba.  I got up early and went for a run.  I'm going to miss this place.
I stopped for another pastechi.
We packed up and still had time for a little more shopping.
Some last minute gifts.
Ariel actually bought a winter coat at Zara.
Bye room!  We left the hotel around 11:30.
It was still lovely.
And we were going home to this...
The airport is crazy.  You go through Aruban customs then American customs.
It takes hours.
We took off about 3.  There is our island beach in the distance!
Bye Aruba!
The flight was fine.  Just a bit longer.  Like 4 1/2 hours.
Look what Noah and I did!  We solved a Rubik's Cube!  We used an app to teach us what to do.
Last Thursday, the kids went back to school and I went back to work.  That night was the first night of Hanukkah.  We lit the candles and said the prayers.
Then we opened some gifts.

The twins remembered to wake up the elves!
We had to make our own fairy dust.

They left a note for the elves.

Last Friday morning, we found what the elves were up to the night before.
Silly elves.

I went to the gym.  First time working out in a week and a half.  The pool is coming along.
Ariel had her private at cheer.

That night we went to synagogue for a rockin' Shabbat.
The band played all the prayers as rock songs.
Ariel with her buddies.
Lots of latkes.
There was a big crowd.

Have a great weekend!
