Fireworks at the Phillies

Sorry about not writing sooner but Amy decided we need to have the house professionally cleaned before the baby comes so when I got home I had straighten up for the cleaners and didn't have time to update.  The package I had been waiting for was our wedding video!  Only 14 months after the fact and not in hi def as promised. He says he doesn't have the capability to burn blu ray discs yet, but he will one day.  I think the best part is the 7 hours of raw footage he gave us.  I scanned through and saw some great moments that he captured.

Amy was home all day Wednesday and was anxious to get out of the house, so even though everyone thinks we are crazy, we went to the Philllies game for fireworks night. First we had dinner at Scannicios in South Philly.  Good stuff.  Dave and Danielle's favorite place.  We got to the stadium around the 4th inning and got a parking spot right up front, which was nice.  It was still a long walk for Amy.  Look at the girl's face behind us.  Everyone had something to say to us.  They are just fascinated by the belly.

We brought the Phils luck.  It was scoreless before we got there but they picked things up and won it!

It was a beautiful night.

It was packed.

My dad tried to get the Phillie Phanatic to come to the wedding!  Thankfully he was busy.

All the kids run down close to the field between innings because sometimes they throw out balls.

Another sell-out!

When we play softball we line up at the end of the game to shake hands with the other team.  The Phillies do it with themselves.  Is that weird?

There was a rain delay, so the game started an hour late.  The fireworks didn't start until after 11.  They had to move everyone out of the outfield seats, so that took a while. The rest of the pictures are fireworks, which are probably boring, just warning you.

This is the playground there.  Someday our son will get to enjoy it!  We got home at 12!
