Amy's mom came back from the Shore to pick her up Wednesday morning so I was alone last night. Melissa and Mark were nice enough to invite me over for a barbeque at Mark's apartment at the Metroclub.
You have seen Amy's old bedroom set in the baby's room and now you can see the rest of it! Here is her living room furniture. (except the brown sofa, which is Mel's, long story why it's here and not at her place) This is the second apartment Mark has used it and Amy still wants it back someday!
The pool area was cool. It actually got really crowded later in the night. Mark's apartment is on the same level as the pool. There is a fence that separates his porch from the pool area. He and his roommates are supposed to enter the pool from the front but find it easier to jump the fence. They have gotten fined for that! (Remember they were fined $1000 for moving in at night) They also have gotten fines for having open liquor containers near the pool. This place means business!
Mark was working hard. Melissa picked up chicken kebobs and corn from Whole Foods and I got the hot dogs and beans.
We had quite a spread. Lashay, Ian and Jared joined us. Lashay is a roommate and Ian is Mark's friend from Pittsburgh who teaches in North Philly. Ugh. Jared just graduated law school and is studying for the Bar. I don't miss those days.
Melissa took this picture. She thought the boys looked cute.
The hot tub was filled with Bulgarians. We thought we were being invaded!
Thanks for the fun night guys!
