First Fries, Then Chicken Fingers

Well, it's monday morning and we enjoyed our first night with boarders. In an unrelated but interesting story, last week, the drain hose from our dishwasher came off during a cycle and started spraying water all over. Thankfully, we caught it quickly and a few towels took care of it. Not so much for Melissa and Mark. The next night, their hose broke but they had the misfortune of being asleep. They were awakened by a security guard that saw leaking in the garage below them. By then it was too late. The carpets were ruined. So, they have moved in with us until the place is fixed.

Friday night my sister and grandmother came over for dinner.

Saturday morning, Amy's mom came over to help arrange the kitchen.

Aden was a big help of course.

We all ran around and did errands. I went to Lowes to get trash cans. We have missed the last 3 trash days and it's really starting to pile up in the garage! I also got shelving to start arranging the basement, which is quite full of boxes.

Saturday night, we met Alan, Ina, Josh, Sloane and Melissa at Outback in Jamison. We called at 12 to put our names on the list for 5 and still had to wait 1/2 an hour! Sloane watched Aden so we could eat.

Aden wanted the ribs but I told him he needed at least one tooth on top first!

Hey Aunt Melissa!

We now leave a trail of Puffs wherever we go!

Back to our house, Aden go ready for bed.

He really liked Alan and Ina.

We took out Guitar Hero and Joshy was rocking!

But not nearly as much as his mother! Ina did great for a first timer!

All they need are mixing cups and coasters!

Sunday morning, I had the bottle in my lap.

Aden picked it up with two hands and put it in his mouth! So cool!

Sheri, Rich, Bridget and Kate came for a visit. They had not met Aden before.

We went to Ben and Irv's, where we of course knew a bunch of people. Lenny was nice enough to hook us up with a table pretty fast. It was packed there. Sheri convinced Amy it was time Aden start eating some real food, so first we gave him some bananas, which he seemed to like. But what we loved were the french fries, of course. I have been going on and on with Amy how we will never let him eat fries and chicken fingers but what is the one of the first foods we give him, fries. (both regular and sweet!)

Rose and Randy were there with the sleeping cuties. Sheri and Rich are not from the area and found it amusing we knew people.

Sheri just got a job teaching at Widener Law. Good luck Sheri!
