It's Wednesday morning, my usual catch up day. Here are all the pictures through last night. Sunday, we met Amy's old babysitter and her family for breakfast in Somer's Point. After, we took Aden to the Longport playground, which was empty because it was so hot! Even Mark and Melissa were sitting in the shade.
The beach was nice again.
I didn't take a lot of pictures. Just relaxed and enjoyed myself. Melissa, Mark and I went in the ocean. It was finally warm enough, about 80. You could walk right in, it felt great. Melissa even rode in a wave on the boogie board.
On the way home, we stopped at the Pub to eat a very late dinner. We didn't get there till after 8.
It was pretty empty. Things aren't the same there. The food was still good though.
Monday, Amy had a class and both our parents were away and Ohev was closed, so I had Aden in the morning. I took him to his last Summer music class.
We love the way he just stares at Ms. Marilyn. The next class starts in 3 weeks! Aunt Melissa babysat the rest of the day and did a very good job.
Tuesday morning, Aden was ready to go.
Still practicing our walking. We still get emails from Babycenter every week. This week, there was a poll about walking. Over 150,000 responded to the poll. 55% reported their boys were walking perfectly and about 25% could only walk with assistance, like Aden. It has been in our experience that boys start a little later so I was surprised to see so many actually are walking by 13 months.
Aunt Melissa taught Aden how to stack blocks, now he is really good at it.
After work, we headed to Adam and Kasia's for dinner. Aden had fun in the girl's playroom.
Liana, who is only 3 but you would think she was 6, played very nicely with Aden.
Of course, dinner would not be complete without a cupcake! Tuesday happened to be National Cupcake Day!
Of course Aden would celebrate that everyday!
Aden and I with Adam and Liana. Jasmine was already asleep.
This weekend, we are having some portraits done on the beach. What should we wear?
Next week, we go to Florida!
