Kalahari - So Not Africa

Last Thursday, we had an adventure.  We drove 2 hours up to the Poconos.
The clouds look like mountians!
There is Kalahari!  We were spending the night at this crazy resort and waterpark.
The twins were so excited.  The rest of us weren't so sure.
The room was huge!  Two big rooms and two bathrooms with a fireplace and a patio.

Melissa and Mark met us there.  We had lunch.
Then headed to the waterpark.
Let's go!
Of course Eli loved the splash area.
There were slides everywhere.

There were big lines.
Here they come!

Aden ran into friends!

The wave pool was a big hit with the kids.

Cuties!
Here come the waves!

What a complex.
We did a bunch of the slides.
Then the lazy river.

Having fun Gwen?
Eli just stood there all day waiting for the big bucket to dump.
We drove to dinner, right at the base of Camelback Mountain.
I had been to Barley Creek many times in the past.  Brought back memories.

Sunset!
Back to the hotel.  We checked out the sweets.
The lobby is cool.
Besties.

The view of the waterpark from the lobby.  It was open late.
We got some milkshakes to share.

Lots of candy and ice cream to choose from.
Human claw machine!  They attach you to the crane and drop you down to pick up prizes!
We played video games till late.

There were so many people there and everyone stayed up late.  The kids played ball in the hall.
